I love most music... but the message in a song has always been something i look for...

To play a nice tune is great
To write lyrics with meaning is great

To put both together is genius (in my eyes)

My favourite protest songs...

Bob Dylan - Times they are a Changing

Bob Dylan - Blowin in the wind

Bob Marley - Redemption song

Bob Marley - One drop

Johnny Cash - Man in Black

Marvin Gaye - Whats going on (the whole album)

Anyway... what your favourite protest songs... I am especially looking for those that are good for a beginner guitarist to learn

Peace

This song is an arrangement of Leonard Bernstein's "America" which Emerson described as the first ever instrumental protest song.
