If that isn't the truth, well then I don't know what is lol!! Plan for the best, but prepare for the worst is what my great grandma always used to
say, it stuck in my head and I'm glad it did. I can't tell you how many times in my life it seemed like things just couldn't get any worse, and so
I would simply plan for the best to come, but prepare for the worst. Sometimes things would get better and sometimes they would get worse. I was
always glad when they got worse that I had tucked a little money aside or bought an extra weeks worth of groceries or what ever "backup plan" I'd
had in place.
I don't know if I believe that 2012 will be THE END, but I know that what ever happens, I will be glad that I had a backup plan. I know for certain
that there are enough people around the world who have heard about it that something will happen. Even if it's just panic in the streets, riots, and
grocery store ransacking, that will be bad enough to have a backup plan at all.
My family has gotten very serious about growing our own garden and making sure we have a lot of first aid type supplies. We live in a house that only
has a cistern for our water supply. It collects rain water, but that's not enough, so we have it filled every 3 weeks. We also have about 10 cases of
"spring" water jugs that we fill for our cooking and drinking water. If worse would come to worse, I'm sure I could sautee' some possum and
convince the kids it's chiken lol!
The point is, better to be safe than sorry, ya know?! However, I think I'll keep my $3 and fill up a case of water jugs with it. I'm not much of a
gambler
