War is hell. It really is. Literally. Hell is the impossibility of reason.

The reason why WAR is the LAST RESORT is because people are going to die. They are going to be ripped to pieces, torn apart into spectacularly horrific pieces that will haunt anyone involved for the rest of their lives, should they survive. Buildings are going to explode and crumble into worthless piles of bloodstained stone. Water will be boiled and then polluted. People will suffer. Innocents and *innocence* will suffer, go mad, and perish.

No one wants WAR because GOOD PEOPLE will be REQUIRED to do BAD THINGS.

During war, good people will try to save lives, both on their own side and that of the civilians caught in the brutal fray. Once the almost unrestrainable CHAOS ensues from the launching of WAR, innocents will get mangled.

If INFORMATION obtained from a prisoner could lead to the saving of lives, prevent the needless spilling of blood, then that INFORMATION is gold. The threatening of a prisoner to get this golden nugget of information pales in comparison to the lives that could be saved.

Again, in war, good people must do terrible things. The best solution is not to engage in war. Unfortunately, war might just make more money than the sex/porn industry. And the military industrial complex is not only alive and well, it is EVERYWHERE, and it is growing.

Nicely said. In fact I would resurrect Hilter for a little help just to add something special for this judge. Well If the Judge just happens to be reading any of this all I can say and yes what Im saying is wrong but

....Do you have kids? if so Mr Judge lets hope they feel a little of what you are handing out. If this kid is a terrorist. Put him on trial and if found truely guilty for terrorist acts then the punishment will be fitting.

The Judges Judgement is only going to enhance the beheadings of captured American aid workers or Journalists.

Too all those who believe in religion you are fighting for nothing and your religions are WRONG. All men are equal, and are endowned with certain unalienable rights by their Creator. This is not the CIA, nor Uncle Sam. This is who/whatever is responsible for creating us. Man does not grant these rights.

What rights do all men, who are created equal, have? It was outlined in the United States Bill Of Rights. The way I see it, his rights were violated based on what is unalienable.

Remember, our constitution does not grant rights. It limits government. Using the logic that the Founders put into the Constitution, this would mean that it isn't about these people having these rights. It is about our officers acting in a manner that exceeds the limits placed on them in the constitution. For example:

Fifth Amendment – due process, double jeopardy, self-incrimination, eminent domain - this states that our officers are not allowed to force or coerce a self incriminating statement. If the person doesn't want to talk, they don't have to.

it does not guarantee that they have the right to be silent. It says that if they choose to be silent, that choice cannot be forcefully over ruled.

Eighth Amendment – Prohibition of excessive bail and cruel and unusual punishment - threatening ass rape certainly constitutes "cruel and unusual" by all standards in the "free world". This does not grant you freedom from this, it limits the government from burdening you with it.

And it is all guaranteed in the next Amendment:

Ninth Amendment – Protection of rights not specifically enumerated in the Constitution - meaning that the constitution is a limit on government, not an enumeration of rights that people have. If it isn't limited by the constitution, then it is allowed.

But the whole point here is, there ARE laws. Those are US citizens, acting in an official capacity as US agents. The US Constitution applies limits on what the US Government can do (meaning, their duly appointed representatives, or military officers/CIA). What these people did clearly exceeds that limit.

The key here is understanding the constitution. You likely have seen it sh* on so often as to not truly understand what it is about. I hope that clarifies it for you a little.

After reading this thread it confirms my thoughts that many of you would be slaves to a tyrannical government. You would standby and and watch you children and wife be raped and killed rather then be men and fight to protect your families.

You have not seen me mention him much twice only. And as a non religious supporter of the Dark arts I can and will use who I wish to when making a point. As a person who comes from Texas a state the has good old sparky as a welcoming sign at the airport and the fact that Texas is the fattest state in ALL of America meaning that the people there have done such heinous things to their bodies so much so that when they wear a tie and and a belt on the same day they look like a set of sausages, I feel I can make my own decisions without your need to point out what I do and do not say. There are no words for how outrageous this is. What's really sad is that threats like this have been going on for decades in order to get information. It was easy to ignore when it was done in the shadows but now to make it legal?

What the &*%$ was this judge thinking? (or not as the case seems to be)

So now in the U.S., it is legal to threaten to rape someone in order to obtain possible/suspected information from "terrorists" (including children and young adults held with no legal representation). But it is still illegal to use cold hard evidence to convict someone of murder, rape, or child molestation if said evidence was obtained via 'illegal' wiretapping, or obtained while searching for proof other crimes (drug trafficking, money laundering, for example).

How does this make sense? How is this moral?

Sadly the answer is that this decision is not and does not.

Ok I thought about this for literally hours.

Now I will finally comment.

I don't believe this story. I just don't. It has to be fake. No human being is this freaking dumb. Sorry ain't buying it.

It has to be some sort of conspiracy.

I can take that it was a mistake to put city instead of State. I mistyped. But still the fattest state. Sorry for the dumb confusion my bad.

Anyway, the topic of torture threats is at hand and I do not see how American soldiers are any different from men who love rent boys. Raping little boys 15 years old or the threat is absolutely disgusting. Can you imagine if someone captured you off the Biggest Loser show and said they would rape you if you did not slim down? Now fair dues you may actually like this and will take what you can get but this is a 15 year old boy we are talking about not a man with moobs . Surely, someone could talk to this boy and use something called a brain and entice any if any info from this CHILD.

The US wants to PREVENT crime or terror

I have come to the SAME conclusion.

We either change our military objective, or we are complicit in the crap that is going on.

NO, we do NOT allow anyone to attack us, but WE PROSECUTE anyone doing this kind of crap. Including the judge.

Who the HELL in their right mind allows torture?

Anyway, been nice knowing you peeps for the last two years.

I know peeps like gra believes in our mission. I did in the beginning. But we have become the enemy.

We have become. We have to understand that. Even my mother, though she HAS attempted to put it off, has began to see. She is a wife of a former Colonel, and keeps up with the crap as we do.

Yes, I am from the military, but sooner or later we have to say. At what point, do we allow the world to grow up on their own?
