In a breaking thread, it has been found that Aussies are sensitive!

Then we all woke up in NZ and said - what a nightmare! We know Aussies aren't sensitive!

So, about that thread Canadians are sensitive to being taken for Americans - every time Aussies and Kiwis go overseas they are mistaken - and they don't have broken hearts!

Get over it, Canada!

I am just trying to have a laugh here - why does everything have to be doom and gloom?

I posted this, trying for a bit of humour.

It made me chuckle quite a bit - for what it's worth.

You know who else are over-sensitive? Bushmen.
Yes, Bushmen. They are always getting mistaken for Botswanans.

Geez, everyone's so sensitive today.

Humor and random madness is the true Above Top Secret of life while lack of it belongs below the abyss, somewhere in the Gulf of Mexico under the crustal plates.

OK, I will just go away and cry and wait for the end of the world.

Is there no-one here who appreciates a joke and a laugh, or would you all rather cry and wait for the end of the world?

YES, thank you Oz comedians.

See, America, Oz and NZ are full of comedians.

In SA our accent is different to all, but we have these "men and sheep" jokes (get my, ahem, drift), and whenever we tell one to an Aussie they think it's about the Kiwis, and whenever we tell one to a Kiwi they think it's about the Aussies.
To us it's inter-changeable, always depends who the next rugby or cricket game's against!

Jokes aside, I was reading recently about countries South Africans emigrate to, and I was surprised to read that New Zealand is very close to Canada. Would that be climate (in-door winter months) or culture?

Which country has a less colonized indigenous culture? I'm just wondering where one could experience the culture, rather than just tourist stuff.

Easiest way to distinguish between an Aussie and a Kiwi is to look around for a sheep. No sheep, he/she is an Aussie.

You started it

Not enough I'm afraid. Anyone who thinks jokes aren't serious are missing the point. I just transmute my deepest depression into lunatic, rambling levity where only the true seekers are allowed to see the pearls of truth.

If it sounds conceited somehow, well fine on that to any and my point hath just made itself. Petry dish smorgasborg.

Geeez cuzzy-bro/sis you are one sunsitive cut.

The Aussies I know are more likely to be described as in-sensitive.
Especially on a stinkin hot day after a night on the puss,... which is most days really!

I think I will end this thread because most people do not appreciate a joke.

Most people here are into the worst that can happen.

I must be a misfit, because I would like to be into the best that can happen.

And one of the best things is laughter.

Is something wrong cat? You seem a little sensitive today.

Well I always heard if you meet someone with a head of sheep it's an ... oh never mind.
But Canadians, they seem so good and slightly bland. Even their Mountie cop shows always end in resolutions - the cops catch a kid with pot, confiscate it and let him go!!! I mean really...tsk, tsk.
That's why I can't understand what South Park is always on about with the Phillip and Terrence jokes. Is that "Blame Canada" song funny?
What's the joke?
