The beating left Shelley with a broken left leg and several stitches to close a cut in his left leg. Jailers moved Shelley to an isolated cell Monday morning. Shelley alleged he was handcuffed during the beating on the floor of the detention center, and that "COs (corrections officers) were standing in windows watching him beat me." Shelley remained jailed Monday.

The title of the "story" doesn't give it justice. This guy was handcuffed, and then his leg was beaten until it was broken. That's what they do here in America.. they beat your legs until they break them, all on a whim. Welcome to a free country

I say lets free "Shelley" and help him get his life on the right track after this crazyness. This guy wasn't even charged with any violent crimes, and got all bust up for nothing.
