Great example of why we spend $25000 per student per year and get kids who know absolutely nothing.

What I want to know is how much it would cost to teach Sarah that "Refudiate" is not a word? Or that the VP is not "in charge" of the US Senate?

Disdain for "education" is part and parcel of the GOP platform these days.

Fox News, etc etc. "Socialism and Homosexuality being taught in our schools!!!" "Elitism!!!" ..."Intellectual" being spoken like thinking is a dirty thing.

It's not an unfamiliar political tactic to attack anyone that appears intellectual or educated...Ironically it is a rhetorical mainstay of communist revolution.

Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge took the rhetoric to it's full conclusion in the genocide in Cambodia and toward the end even shot kids in the streets for wearing glasses.

I have no patience for that kind of divisive BS.

Did you ever have to teach? I did, albeit at the university level. I detect zero understanding of the subject in that paragraph of yours.

You said it.
