i see that this is just an other Christian bashing thread..... every one has the right to protest but its kind of sick how many people are for debauchery over morals. (just because its against the church) dont get me wrong i check out women jus like the next guy, but is this what people want in this world?

dont we have enough on the disney channel? (that was a joke... sort of)

what if this was a school and not a church? would every one put down the children for stopping adults from having fun and praise the strippers for sticking it to em? i know that Christianity has halted humans freedom and stuck their religious foot in their mouths many times but is that cause to give up morals and fight for the wrong side?

im getting so tired of this crap.

just let it go.

Students Ordered To Stop Singing National Anthem at Lincoln Memorial....Fox News.

The school kids would have a better chance at singing the National Anthem in front of a strip club than at a Washington, DC monument.

Sarah Palin was confronted by a protestor. Before the conversation was over, the protestor was agreeing with Sarah Palin.

We could all learn a lesson from Sarah Palin on how to get along better with protestors.

I bet if Sarah Palin went to Ohio, she could get the preacher and the stripper protestors to come to some sort of agreement.

What you consider to be moral behavior, may be different from someone else. Who are you to decide what's moral and accepted over what's not? Who or what gives you the authority to make such judgments and what proof do you have of such a delegation?

If you don't like debauchery, then don't take part in it. It's that simple, really. Nobody is forcing you to visit strip clubs.

This church allegedly went far beyond merely protesting this strip club. They allegedly crossed over to harassment and invasion of privacy. I support their right to protest, even if I don't support the cause for which they protest. However, this church, like many other Christian churches, tried to impose their will on others and not only is that unAmerican, but it is the very anti-thesis of freedom and liberty.

I just can't understand for the life of me, why Christians (some, not all) can't just worship their god. Instead, they are constantly trying to force their god down everyone else's throat. Why must they force everyone to live by their bible? Is it one of those situations, "If I can't play ball, then I'm taking my ball home so no one else can play either."?.

although i don't agree with harrassing the stripers, i do understand why some people get freaked out by it. every country that has popularized pornography, prostitution and hard core drugs has ended up with all the associated problems. it tends to lower quality of life for those participating and those not participating. (although you might have a hard time convincing some customers of prostitutes of that and i'm sure the strippers make more money in tips than most guys with phDs nowadays, who are all working at burger king.)

I believe that over the years the churches have forgotten a very important lesson that Jesus taught:

Rather than fight evil with anger, accusations and judgment, we need to fight evil with kindness and love.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
Martin Luther King, Jr.

Not that I am saying that these dancers are evil, but perhaps instead of taking such an offensive and judgmental stance, the pastor or a church member should have attempted to discuss this matter with them kindly, maybe invite them for coffee or something. Then both sides would be more enlightened, rather than feel like enemies. If the girls didn't want to discuss this aspect of their lives, so be it. The church should realize that not everyone can be "saved", not everyone wants to be saved, and not everyone needs to be saved.

I think we need a task force to determine the level of Satanliness of the strip club.

I'm going to need a month and 50 grand with 10 grand of that money in singles. I need the money to properly determine exactly how sinful the place can be.

If I blow through the money in less than a month you know the place is ripe with sin.

That church needs to leave those poor crackheads alone. Seriously, pick a club with some hot chicks in it to protest and let this place employ all the fugly dancers it wants.

I just heard an update on this story....turns out this isn't even a "traditional" strip club....these girls only strip down to their bikinis/pasties

I wonder if the church protests the local swimming hole too...

You can offer the same amount of money to someone in a normal job setting and ask them to do a lot worse or the same so if a strip club is sinful for this then so are all other places that involve money for sex or favors. Strippers aren't the only ones tempted by money.

Looks more like a publicity stunt to me...

Dude, even so, couldn't they find better looking strippers??

I mean, my goodness, all they can come up with is a crack whore and a baby whale?

The least they could do is send some "real" good looking strippers so at least they can tempt the dudes and children walking into the Church.

I wonder if this is all a sick joke, or these two are the best Foxhole could offer...

Keep in mind though that these are the only strippers who'd actually be awake and mobile at Church-Thirty on a Sunday morning.

Yes,I like boobs.
I like looking at boobs.
I love nudie bars!!

Who is anyone to say what I am allowed to like and what others are allowed to show me??

I dated a good christian girl before and she could make a stripper look like an angel.(The irony lol)
I have had more damage done to me by 1 single christian girl then by all those countless strippers I have seen.

For all the people bashing strippers...have you EVER been to the nudie bar??

I will go tonight on your behalf.
The things I do for this site.

Most strip clubs don't require skills like that of a gymnast. Studies show that at least 90% of strippers were molested as children. They don't have a healthy attitude towards sex. No self-respecting woman would be a stripper.

care to back up what you are saying ?

I'd be interested to see those studies and also that all strippers don't have a healthy attitude toward sex.
