I thought it was funny when the pastor guy said, "I absolutely refuse as a pastor to look away from that place as long as it exists."

The guy leading the witchhunt is usually the most suspect of them all.

The gentleman speaking on behalf of the church sounded crazy and the women speaking on behalf of strippers were not attractive...no story here.

No, all it takes is willingness to degrade yourself all for money. That's insulting to people who actually DO have jobs that takes courage, the ones that risk their lives everyday.

Excuse me stereo types aren't very nice. You know for a fact all strippers are crack addicted and charge too much for lap dances? Please show me this because I can tell you from my personal experience you are wrong. I know more crack addictive corp types than I do crack addicted dancers.

For all you who seem to think the worst of dancers let me tell you something...the people I work with are some of the nicest people I have ever met as well as many customers of the bar. These people who many of you assume to be the worst are educated and just working a job to pay bills or support their family. There is nothing more to it really. Yes there are those with problems but you will find this in almost any job. One doesnt have to be a dancer to be an addict for heaven's sake. I know many with bachelor's and masters degrees but there are no jobs in this area so they dance. It's easy money at times esp when you can't find a job right now. I put myself through school dancing. I would rather have my retail management job back but I can't so I dance. It pays the bills and gives me the freedom to work when I want and make what I want..These women have families just like you or I and they don't act like dancers outside work. You people need to really get a grip and realize the way TV and media portrays dancers is NOT the truth. I could write many threads on this industry but I know I would get banned. I will put up with a lot of insults and crap on here but I will not put up with the ridicule of dancers. It is too personal and it makes me really mad to see how ignorant people are when it comes to "strippers."

Yes they aren't the most attractive but I have seen worse.

I am a pole champ won many contests and I go to a decent school for my degree. I will agree that the more the guys drink the more they spend more but I will not take advantage of their wallet because they are drunk and can't think right, that would be wrong but that is just me.

That is interesting, “THE CHURCH” complaining about the human body that GOD created.

ADAM and EVE were nude get over it.

Both groups have the Constitutionally protected right to peaceably assemble, regardless of how asinine their reason for doing so may be.

And yeah, I'm failing to see how those chicks make a living, but whatever does it for ya.

This article goes into a little more depth. Says the owner sued the church in federal court several years ago, claiming a violation of his constitutional rights, but he lost.

Also read what the fine upstanding members of the ministry do to the customers who visit the club ...

Not very christian-like in my humble opinion.

Like I said, "the right to peaceably assemble."

If it goes beyond that (harassment, invasion of privacy, etc.) it should be investigated and the guilty parties held responsible, but both groups have the right protest.

Lol did you not watch the video? About 4 years ago the pastor and his flock turned up and protested outside the strip club. And every weekend since then they have done so.

If you choose that sort of job, then you can't complain about all the "crap" you go through. You chose it. And people go through crap no matter what job they have. A stripper is not an honorable thing to be. It's something that requires no education, skill, or learned craft. Only willingness to become an sex object for men who can't get laid. Some women suddenly forget about dignity, self-respect, and their children's well-being when money is involved. Women are now seen as nothing other than sex objects. One of the most common images of a woman you will see in the media is that of a whore. Because of women willing to degrade themselves to the fullest for a buck, all women have to suffer for it.

hahahahaha Seeing that lady try to run her kids in the church...classic. On a serious note, the church needs to leave them alone and the strippers need to leave the church alone. The whole thing is a joke. The funny thing is neither side will probably give up so the strippers will be on the church lawn every sunday!
