www.cbc.ca

Young B.C. sex offenders were subjected to controversial testing with a genital measuring device for more than two decades, despite regular concerns from within government.

Government officials, clinicians and researchers within the B.C. Children and Family Development Ministry were often at odds over the continued testing with a genital sensor device designed to measure arousal rates.

Mary Polak, the B.C. children and family development minister, pulled the plug on the penile plethysmograph last month. Mary Polak, the B.C. children and family development minister, pulled the plug on the

Just to be clear, these were already convicted sex offenders. Just wanted to clear that up. They aren't just pulling random people off the street and subjecting them to this test ya know.

Other than that, it seems pretty intrusive, and for the life of me I don't know exactly how this is supposed to help anyone.

yeah i got that part but it i still dont see the point in useing tax dollars(Canadian) to have people as young as 13 have there junk measured while there watching what ammounts to child pornography and rape porn let alone how they think its a viable science you show most 13 year old boys a boobie regardless of the context it might get them a little riled up and what is the procedure for female sex offenders? seems like its just an excuse for perverts to get paied to watch porn and attach stuff to kids junk and as a side note had any one heard of this before this article? because it was an eye opener for me i dont live in Canada but still i figured some where this woulda come up before+ it seems to say that one of the people giving said tests was a sex offender him self i may be wrong ill go look for the quote

What? I cant even believe they would do that to children. Really, what the hell were they thinking.

It would make more sense to use a device like that on adults who wanted to work with children. Teachers, boy scout leaders, priests, counselors, and, clearly, people who use little devices to measure arousal in adolescents.

You could show a video of a dildo penetrating an vagina sex toy and I'm sure it would get plenty of people aroused.

So, what does that mean?

OMG, this is absolutely pathetic. These people should be charged with child abuse, basically they, obviously nwo, bloodline creeps, have been sexually abusing kids. That is what I read and this is outrageous. Making kids have hard ons in an adult's presence and measuring them ,makes the officials pedefiles.

It's not supposed to help. Ever since someone announced that sex offenders were incurable, we no longer want to help them, only hurt them in every way possible. If someone is labeled a sex offender now, their life is over.
