Hello,
I have noticed that I'm double posting a lot, and it appears to happen only after I preview my post first.

I make sure that I click ''post'' button only once, but quite often my post still comes up twice.

I am using Google Chrome, if that is a relevant factor.

LOL.
No, I have no twin.

I experimented by previewing my thread before I posted it, so that is why it came up twice.

It appears to happen only after I alter some of the text after previewing.

I shall just make sure that I change the text before I preview in future.

For the record old nemesis of mine it's even occurred with this posting.

I believe a second line is customary around these parts.

Tally ho!

Ah, Moriarty. I thought I'd seen you off at the Reichenbach Falls !

I previewed my topic and altered it before I posted it, so that seems to be the problem.
It is ok if I post after previewing, as long as it's unaltered.

Yes, that's what I wanted you to believe at the time.

Do you really think our bonds would be broken by a silly fist fight over a waterfall? (Seriously Doyle let us both down there).

Onwards and upwards!

Wow... Perfect recursion. Double posting about double posting.

Trippy.

I think he wanted that to be the end of his stories about Holmes, but was forced to carry on because of popular demand at the time.

It's just a shame that he didn't make Moriarty survive the encounter, too !

I have worked out when I double post, now.

I'll preview this post now... Add this text in preview mode, and this post should be displayed twice.

EDIT TO ADD: LOL. That didn't work !

Murphy's Law in action:
If something can go wrong, it will.
Corollary: it even goes wrong when you try getting it to go wrong by coming out all right.

Edited for missing verb
