Best Psychic Ability Books?

Can anybody recommend books on developing psychic ability? I am sure that there at lots out there and rather than trawl through what the masses to get through the best ones. Many thanks.

The only book I have read with techniques and examination of developing them was in a book called Wisdom Of The Mystic Masters, by Joseph Weed.
There are chapters entitled: How to generate and apply psychic energy, Achieving Psychic Development, Psychic projection and healing through the power of psychic energy.
I wanted to try them out but, like so many things on the back burner, I haven't set aside time for it yet.
