To prove how old I am...I have to go back to Willie Nelson's 4th of July Picinic in College Station (circa 1973). Jimmy Buffet was drunker than a skunk and made a psa announcement about curbing alcohol and drug consumption during the concert. Hey then said, "So, let's drink up, toke up, and go get 'em". Ok, the quotes are now politcally incorrect and irresponsible, but, in my hazy mind, of 1973, it was darn funny. He then launched in to that song about "Lash LaRue". I was roaring..though I don't know how much from performance or how much from previous consumption levels that made me a definate road danger. Thank goodness I outgrew that phase sorta
