Actually I think you just need a space in the 'slash a' closing tag: "" instead of ""

When I do that, the preview looks exactly right. Cool. But when I "commit," it takes the spaces out automatically.

Say, what's the deal with that anyhow? It's been a decade since I HTML'd for a living, but I don't remember that.

Are you guys using HTML in posts?

If so, how can one harvest such arcane magic on ATS?! It says "HTML is off" for me, I just have the BB code. Either way, a WYSIWYG editor would be real nice. Using dark powers of HTML would enable use of external editors.

Either way BB code is obsolete, I think wiki syntax would be much better for a site like ATS, or at least HTML of course.
