Okay, ya'll. This is my first thread.

I have been reading this site "The Chronicle Project" for about 6 months now, ever since I read about it on George Ure's website "Urban Survival". I have become convinced that they have found the truth about the Word of God being hidden from us all these centuries. I think that with just a few subtle changes of words and meanings, the truth of the Word was obscured and hidden. Watch their video and see what you think of it. Then visit their site and do a little reading and see if things don't seem to "click" much better in Genesis. Some of the translation puts an entirely new spin on creation!

Please let me know what you think.

Here is a link to their website:

www.thechronicleproject.org...

Have fun and keep an open mind! The team that is working on this really wants to get the word out and get some feedback.

nevermind, you got it

Edit To Add: Just read thru a few and am intrigued, so I will finish reading thru them later. I tried to research the subject but there is nothing to cross reference with it. Is there any more "official" recognition of this? Not that truth only resides in the opinion of others, but I am curious what the Hebrew community thinks of this.

Peace

I actually haven't even tried to see what the Hebrew community thinks. They are just now starting to receive some attention, and are anxious for the info to get out so it can be scrutinized. They are just normal people, no major funding and no help of any kind. When I first started reading about them I was one of probably only 50 people who even knew they were publishing the material.

I can only tell you that I FEEL this discovery to be true. I know, doesn't count for much, and until the info has been looked at and studied more, that is all I can say. Except, it does make PERFECT sense when you go to their site and read about how the ancient Hebrew was discovered to work when translating modern Hebrew. SDH, or Self-defining Hebrew, used by the Chronicle project, has only one meaning for each word of a 22 glyph set. It cuts WAY back om all the confusion and roundabout randomness of the modern Hebrew. Things just make a whole lot more sense to me when translated this way.

Fascinating stuff! I enjoyed reading some of the revised/translations. The one in Matthew about the church having the "self-annointed" teacher preaching falsely to followers. That blew my mind, because I am a Christian who has never felt comfortable in church (so I don't go to any) - just something always felt phony about it, & I've tried several. Now I know why! Thanx OP for posting this!

Exactly! The only difference is, I grew up in Baptist church. My Grandfather was a really well-known and much respected Preacher here, and I have three brothers, ALL of them are ordained preachers in the area. I attended church faithfully for 30 years. I and some of my family were "called out" about 10 years ago, and we really struggled with the reason behind it. But, Yahweh gave us no choice and no peace until we had come out of organized religion. The last 8 years have been an incredible journey for me. I have learned far more truth listening to what my Father has to say than anything any man could ever tell me about His word.

I could never be comfortable going and sitting in a "church" with some man telling me what God's word says! I can read, and I have the Author of the book on call 24/7!!

Yeah, it's just killin' me for them to release Matthew so slowly!! But there are only a few of them on the team and they have to lead lives in amongst the translating. I keep in pretty regular touch with Chris Tyreman and the team and try to encourage them in any way possible.

As far as numbers and other things that have been used to "interpret" the bible with, I think that this SDH just blows it all outta' the water! It's not speculation, or just someone's opinion. It seems to me to be based on sound linguistics. Made all the difference to me.

Very interesting stuff. This sounds like New Age interpretations of the bible. Adultery in the 10 Commandments translates to "breaking any vow of authority." Sounds like a lot of people I know in politics and positions of power. I liked the Commandments better with this new version. It said that the six days were basically to work and make a profit and the seventh day was set aside to lift up the poor or something. Sounds like socialism lol.

Thank you for sharing this and I hope others take a look. There are some interesting passages reinterpreted to a more balanced way. It appears based on this groups interpretation God wasn't the one who created us...god just moved us to this planet and lifted us up. That we would struggle to learn and eventually be able to live with the supreme ones at a later time. Sounds like aliens.

I think that the reason so many believe in "aliens" is because the original "God" had been so distorted by men over the millenia. If noone had ever planted the idea of little grey men from outerspace, we would be able to see the truth and beauty in all those encounters between Yahweh and His people. I believe the idea of "aliens" is just a tool used to supplant the One True Ruler of the Supreme Ones. Only my opinion, of course!

What if they get to the prophecies in the OT and find that what is said about the coming Messiah is totally different than what we were taught. Or.. what if it backs it up completely.

Interesting. If you email them they can send you the dictionary they use. They say anyone can do this. I am going to try to download each page and each embedded file and get that help notes and the dictionary to study this off line. My internet connection is going away for a while.

The thing about the Bible, is I was taught years ago that it was written in code and the secret to understanding it was through the Holy Spirit " line upon line precept upon precept" The Bible will not contradict itself as many claim, if you have This Key to it's understanding.

It is well known that other books of the Hebrews were written in codes. This was a common practice to hide valuable information from the Gentiles.

It shall be interesting to do a "Holy Spirit " line upon line precept upon precept"" comparison to this type of deciphering system.

It said the holy spirit was misinterpreted. I think it states holy spirit really meant breathing fresh air. That the supreme ones gave us continual fresh air to breath.

Yes, absolutely e-mail them and get all the info. I have the complete set of everything they have done so far, and have tried to do some translation on my own. My problem is that I have absolutely no talent for languages
I am dying to see some of Daniel, Ezekiel, Hosea, etc. in SDH!

I have known for several years now that we were waiting to see something revealed that would be mind-blowing. There was always the understanding that things revealed by the Holy Spirit could alter our concepts of The Word and Truth. If you have the correct relationship and can be guided by Truth, it all makes perfect sense, regardless of how far out it seems at the time.

Now don't get me wrong; I understand that there are far more people that will claim "HERESY" and "lies" than there will be of those willing to listen to Truth. I don't owe them an explanation of why I believe what I believe. As long as I am obedient to Yahweh, that is all that is required of me.

Good luck with your translating, and when you find something good, PLEASE let me know!!!

Thank you for the "Turn-On"!

I just visited The Chronicle Project web site for the first time. I will be going back there now.

This is exactly the kind of historical document records interpretations I enjoy finding and adding to my library...

I think I may have found your lost dog!

Thank you again, I am very excited!

I have had my own instinctive beliefs about the whole story. This is like food for my soul to read their interpretations.

The story of our creation/origination/beginning on this Earth/Purpose/etc...

If you meant to draw me there...

I will be reading from that site for some time.

Thanks

cmariesees

P.S. I think I may have found your lost dog!

You most definitely have to start at the beginning to understand any of it. And here is one more bug for your ear: to me, the story of creation is the Revelation in reverse order. Read it and see what you think about the garden versus the New Jerusalem.
