There was an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.3 earlier today (18 June) South of Panama. 83W 2N. However other than on the site below I can't seem to find any report on this earthquake? Any ideas why?

There was also a fourth earthquake in Northern Colombia with a Magnitude of 5. 73W 6 North. That makes for 4 earthquakes in one day.

Yes the point being?? People need to realise that earthquakes are naturally occuring, not made to happen. As yet I have heard no alternate theory that stands up to scientific reasoning, or sensibe deductions

The USGS website generally has detailed scientific information about daily earthquakes: neic.usgs.gov...
The info is text-based and slightly easier to decipher than the iris.edu map.

You can click on each quake to get more detailed information. The Panama quake info is here: neic.usgs.gov...

Five to 10 medium-sized quakes per day (going by the USGS postings over the years) is not unusual. Earth's just a shakey place. = )

Probably because, as earthquakes go, it was very small. Remember each tenth of a pointon the Richter scale represents a doubling of the energy. In other words, a 4.4 is twice as strong as a a 4.3. There are actually between 5 and 15 quakes each day measuring over 4.0. Many on these are out in the oceans and are only of interest to geologists.
