You have about as many threads on here as NY has mosques, which is 90 plus mosques so why don't you allow us to discuss this, please go to your many homes Luc.

I'm sorry, but what does this have to do with the topic? My threads? My homes?

Anyway, can you enlighten us on the threat that is Cordoba or not? Per you contribution on page 1 of the topic.

Do you have proof that THIS mosque will be used for nefarious deeds?

You have said a few times that it will be used for such beyond a doubt.

I only saw 1. That in 1993. The others were mainly in the middle east. Yes, they may have been against US forces, such as Lebanon but are you saying that the terrorist fly to NY to plan attacks over there? If not the whole premise of this thread has been shown for what it is.

no they wont have to fly anywhere nyc welcomes them with open arms.

i cant beleive people are so blind.

even the most innocent thing can be dangerous if you people cannot see the truth of that then there is no hope for this country.

it is a simple fact every move we make has consquences and they can and more often than not that always come back to hanut us.

As I mentioned before, its about how they avoid the issue of funding Luc.
Just because you dont like my answer doesnt mean you can continue to badger me on the same question.

Can you please...

1. Point out the alleged attacks in this thread.
2. Point out where this has been turned "into a Christian thing."
3. Explain your previous post to me.

I would still also love to hear about the Cordoba connection. That is an area that seems to be a very large concern for opponents of the Islamic center.

the thread topic is the mosque near ground zero given the green light.

it is not about one member or another. it is not a forum for personal attacks and it is not a place for side tracking and off topic posting.

now, stick to the topic and cease all personal attacks or I shall wind up reinjuring my thumb with all the typing and that would be bad.

very bad.

Isn't this like saying that every church in Europe is like commending Charlamagne's river of blood?

Seriously. It was PEOPLE not a RELIGION that flew those towers into the WTC.

Actually Mcveigh was a mind control slave (MK-ULTR) too. He was reported as being in a trance like state when he was was picked up. Same power behind his crime as the pilots of 911. You need to do some reading on Nazi Germany and mind control. I assure you, when you are done with that discovery, all of this will make sense to you. There is an evil element pulling the strings all over the globe. What we are seeing is what they want us to see.

Most of America is under their spell. If you don't believe me, think back to all the most horrific 'murders/suicides/war) events in your lifetime. I'll bet you will remember where you were at the time, what you were doing, what were you thinking? etc. These are memories that 'we the people' have been programmed with (at a much lower level) in order to gain the results that TPTB wanted us to have.

Sorry. Then how is The Cordoba Initiative or Cordoba House related to the funding point? Are they collecting the funds? Is there evidence that this is being done illegally that I've missed? Or is it merely a question of the unknown, in which case don't our laws cover tracking terrorist funding, if that is the concern?

Are churches or synagogues or any private building, for that matter, bound by law to disclose those who contribute to them or building them?

I would be interested to know who is funding the mosque. In the uk many of the Mosques receive funding from Saudi Arabia. If that is the case with this mosque, then it would seem a little strange considering many of the alleged attackers were from Saudi.

To be honest I don't know much about the situation, but just thought it would be interesting to know who's funding it.

I will not respond to you at all! Do not respond to me either, I would like to hear what neo is saying. Thank you!

I see. Would it be wrong of me to assume that you don't have the answers to the questions I'm asking about funding and legalities and Cordoba? If that's the case, just say so.

etc.............. thats a long list

and wether you people want to believe it or not those people flock to mosques.

you people should have problems with them too and for the life of me i can not figure out why you dont.

I am not judging you in what I posted, and I hope you don't take it that way. What I posted is something to consider researching. There is more to this than what is on the surface. What is on the surface is not the whole story. It is a cover for the real story. The rabbit hole goes much deeper NEO.

Opinion:

The Ground Zero mosque has every right to exist in this location. If this were a Church or a Synagogue there would not be so much hell being raised.

It shows that the ignorance and intolerance coming from most on the Right and from you, the OP, is staggering. Considering that the building was legally given the green light you are complaining on a moral basis.

All this complaining implies is that you categorize an entire group of people based upon the actions of a radical few. It is ignorance, egotism, Islamophobia and intolerance combined into an argument which you, OP, and they, other Islamaphobics, justify by using 9/11 as your excuse.

[edit on 8/3/2010 by Misoir]

Is it wrong to blame an entire group for the deeds of a few? Well, usually, yeah. But humans tend to go a bit nutso when in grief or shock and want to find someone to blame. It's natural to see the face of the enemy in the familiar.

However, were you one that was personally affected by the events of 9/11? And "personally affected" doesn't even have to mean someone who lost a loved one. NYC is home for ~9 million people. Having your home attacked is pretty darn personal. See how you would feel afterward about certain groups if someone that looked like them attacked you or yours.

Speaking for myself, I feel it's insensitive of the Islamic community to build a mosque there. Their motives may be pure and they probably are doing it to try and build good faith between "us and them". But most people in NYC appear to think otherwise. Doing something because someone thinks it's a good idea is OK and all, but you might want make sure any others that it's affecting feel the same way. You say we're intolerant of Muslims for not wanting a mosque built on that site. I say they're not being considerate of the victims and their families.

There's a reason people always bring up Christianity and the crusades: It is, beyond the shadow of a doubt, the same thing happening.

"Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it"

Guess what? We are repeating it!

We did not learn after the crusades that killing people over their invisible friend was wrong. What's worse is (if my memory serves me correctly) that Muslims were part of the ones who were killed in the crusades.

I am not denying that Islamic extremists use mosques to recruit. There has been proof of this.

What you have failed to provide is proof that THIS MOSQUE, BEING BUILT NEAR GROUND ZERO will do the same thing.

So again, if you have proof of this, it would be beneficial to EVERYONE if you showed it.

Otherwise, all we can do legally is wait and see. You wouldn't want someone stopping you from doing what you want because they think you harbor ill feelings toward a certain group, you can't expect to do the same thing to someone else.

I get where your anger is coming from, but we live in a free society. You can't go around expecting to take other people's rights away.

So tell me if I'm hearing you right neo.

Are you hoping to discuss this subject beyond religion?

Are you trying to first talk this out so you can deduce which quetions need to be answered?

Are you on of the few who is taking this subject at the angle of a conspiracy theorist angle?

High five Neo!

its not really anger its more dissappointment and it shows disrespect for those people lost

i guess im just an idiot for looking at fellow americans and not wanting to see them die because more of us will

because noone in this country wants to do anything respectful or anything right.

people say be respectful for what the mosque builders want
i say why cant they show respect for what people dont want

to me its like people bend over backwards to appease islam so much to the effect that islam is above any other religion these days.

my personal philosophy is no man above another and certainly no religion above another.
