WWII + Modern Day Pictures

Interesting concept...and, I learned they have Carl's Jr. in Russia. Hmmm.

First pic made me say "WOW" out loud. Now wife and youngest daughter are looking at site with their own laptops.

It not only struck me in a ghostly way, but made me think of dimensions and time travel as well. Kind of made me think about like a residual haunting. The smaller pictures near the bottom with the bodies and people just walking by clueless of what they are stepping through.... Sorry rambling... very very nice find indeed.

That's pretty cool. These pictures represent pretty clearly what my parents thought about the War. They thought it was the end of the World

that is so awesome! that's what I love about Europe - it's totally modern, but still has a direct connection to its past.

The best description to me would have to be haunting.
It's interesting how people wander around these places where great events happened and don't even realize.
