KARACHI, Pakistan – Gunmen went on killing sprees in Pakistan's largest city after the assassination of a lawmaker, killing at least 37 people by Tuesday. Dozens of vehicles and shops were set on fire as security forces struggled to gain control as Karachi seethed.

Officials from different hospitals put the total death toll by Tuesday morning at 37. Some 80 people had suffered gunshot wounds as well, they said. A furniture market was among the places set ablaze.

Pakistan is in pretty big trouble at the moment. With the flood death toll reaching around 1,000, plus all the border with Afghanistan violence, and now this.

The country is definantly in a pretty dangerous situation. It seems there is a possiblity of the country collapsing soon and becoming highly unstable, worse than it is now.

The lawmakers death happend on Monday, and it has only been 1 day and there's already a bunch of civilians dead and wounded. I would take a guess and say there is going to be more violence in the next few days.

The religion of peace is at it again. Don't worry what could possibly go wrong. After all Pakistan is a nuclear power. It couldn't possibly be a failed terrorist state.......
