I have tried to follow this entire thread but all I see is complaining about certain party's actions. For some reason we as Americans have forgotten that we are allowed to vote for whom ever we choose. I know that if I waste my vote on a third party candidate it may take away from the primary issues but my vote still counts. Perhaps if more people begin to make a stand and start voting with their heart instead of their parties concerns we can all make a difference.

I am sure that this has been posted many times, but thought why not.

People want too much to be a party to a "winner". I think that is the biggest reason that third party candidates have such a hard time. they have to overcome the inertia of the 2 party system to wake people up and get them to believe that a third party candidate could actually get elected. As long as it does not appear possible for a third party candidate to get elected, they will never surge past the critical mass needed to convince enough people that their vote will not be "wasted" by voting for someone other than a member of the 2 party system.

Until that happens, people will keep voting for the lesser of two evils instead of who they would actually want to get elected because that is the only way they feel that they will get some "value" from their vote. It is sad, but it is human nature.

I use to live in Laredo Tx, most of my friends were Mexicans, I live in Idaho now and talk to them about 2 times a month, you know what they tell me? THat things are so damn bad down there, that it would be dangerous for me to come down and visit because of the drug wars, and inability for the border patrol to keep things in order because of the MASS influx of drug cartels.

Actually...you should look more into the story. Fox News claims Obama dropped whatever charges against the "black panthers." Funny though, that decision was made by then president Bush.

I know, it's simplistic to pull the race card but there's no need for it...I wish Fox would get that message.

In the 1980's when they gave amnesty to illegals, they thought there were just under a million, and they got over 3 million apply.

In 2010, they "estimate" there are "12 million" illegal immigrants in the country. Using the same ratio, the USA should get over 36 million applicants when amnesty is finally declared by Obama by executive order.

Yes, I totally understand and agree, I myself have been as guilty as the next person in not speaking out for those that are in the right. I always vote my conscience but never stage rally's fund raisers etc. As 'electric' as the web seems to be it is still no competitor to the classic television channels when it comes to "getting the message across". Maybe it's time for a change... as inappropriate as this may seem to some the idea of another "Yes we can" campaign may not be that far fetched!!

You did not read my post or you took it out of context. I never did claim the Mexicans should come here illegally. If you were paying attention or actually reading my statements, I made the obvious point that the businesses who hire and exploit the illegals for cheap labor are the ones who should be punished.

I can tell a lot of folks here aren't educated on what happens when you're an "illegal" here and you're sent back to Mexico. But whatever, to each their own. Enjoy having your head in the sand.

I'm not so sure about that. The greed and ruthlessness will remain. I think they would just step up human trafficking and kidnapping to take the place of drug trafficking. Those are already lucrative side activities I believe. I can only see human suffering escalating. You're on the right track there.

The two-party system is the epitome of the left-right facade, because it creates the false impression of choice. In reality, you have no choice, because you're just basically propping up a two-headed, one-bodied monster.

The globalist elite know that if third parties become dominant, then their monopolized control of the political system is threatened and exposed for the general public sheeple to see who they truly are.

I would have to agree....

its's already hard out here and then to go to the unemployment offices, welfare or foodstamp offices and see plenty of (illegal) immigrants getting handed over benefits, never having to show I.D. and then they'act' as if they can't speak the language....

if they really can't speak it, they should learn it....That's just like me going to France and expecting eveybody and every service to have a translator on standby for me....

and then to top it all off, WE have to be bi-lingual to get a damn job nowadays...WTF????

I believe that people should start busting into our elected official's houses that support the amnesty for illegals. If it's alright to allow whoever wishes to just barge into our country undocumented and take advantage of what we have then they should have no problem having their houses broken into and let people "better themselves" with their furniture, jewelry, or whatever they have that might help someone else. If they're going to let anyone just break through the "windows", whether they have bad intentions or good, and into our "house" then they shouldn't have a problem with anyone going into their houses and doing whatever they wish.

The difference is that allowing illegals amnesty gives those who think themselves better for believing a lie about "freedom" or other BS excuse our media and government throws out there, a happy feeling in their pants. How can the average citizen be so blind to the problems this creates? Do they just ignore all that can go wrong because our news outlets only portray the least threatening news? It boggles the mind.
