WASHINGTON – US House appropriators have pushed funding for Israeli missile defense programs to its highest level ever, with $422.7 million now slated for 2011.

I'm glad that the U.S. is doing so well finacially that they are able to give this kind of money to Israel. Of course the U.S. has to babysit Israel and make sure that they are well protected.

Maybe this is an answer to China investing $40 billion in Iran gas and oil.

The world is going to complete sh*t and world war 3 is fast approaching.

I am confused. Anyone care to explain this anomaly??

Why would Israel and the US dump this much $ on a plethora of more traditional missile intercept systems and not throw in a few THELs to round out the defense package?

I honestly am totally dumbfounded by that aspect of the whole thing.
