Wikileaks Twitter feed has been going like the clappers today, I think that with the current pentagon shenanigans they are gonna release soon. The insurance file won't be cracked.

So do we know what's in the insurance file yet? WikiLeaks are hinting on Twitter that it's proof the US have a plan to wipe us out if we revolt or something?

Hi, no still nothing. Indications are that it's more afghan files (I'm basing that on hints from wikileaks Twitter asking how certain soldiers died - they were serving in afghan.)

Also plenty of updates stating that they have tried to set up co-vetting it with the Pentagon but that didn't fly.

Lastly more rallying support for manning. Apparently Michael Moore has contributed.

Ok, firstly, I dont know # about programming, encrypting/decrypting or whatever you guys do... Im just an "average-joe" when it comes to this that doesn't know # what im doing... Im using win$ simply cause i cba to learn linux/ubuntu....

Anyways, I've been intrigued by this insurance-file and been trying to decrypt it without knowing even where too start... Somehow i got this blowfish, used it to decrypt the file, and was wondering what to do with the new file. So i simply tried opening it with VLC.

So, what happened? Noththing really, it started playing something up, but there was neither sound nor video. It was 8 seconds long though, but lagged through the playingup-part.

Not sure I really discovered something, but it could be that its somekind of audio-file with the next hint for decryption or w/e...hell if I knew

Even more weird stuff, the pornomovie named "Julia Bond - Booty Shaker.mpg" which was released under the name of insurance, at 8 minutes and 8seconds into it, the girl is holding her hand up making a upside-down scorpio-sign (the zodiac sign). Still, if it means anything or not, i dont know

Probably not, VLC plays anything, even if it's not playable.

Im probably just on a wild-goose chase here, but in the pornmovie that was falsely labeled as the insurance-file (why would anyone upload a pornmovie without viruses/trojans/we and pretend its the insurance-file?)
You'll see certain things, animals to be frank. In the first frames you'll get a glimpse of the girls earrings, which looks like dolphins, the next thing you see is when she flashes her boobs, showing her two tatoos which look like somekinda paws, which in turn kinda looks like w's *2. And her necklace, has the letter F.
WWF in other words en.wikipedia.org...

At 08.08 in the movie she holds her hand as to forming the zodiacsign of the Scorpio.
And...he does her doggy-style. You can also see a cross in the background.

The name itself, "Cryptozoology" and when searching for the word "insurance" on the blog is more then weird, one page with "Uncle Sam wants you..." is sort of a bash on USA namewise, I found another page under the "Stories you have missed" that said something about Australian and US connections, which was about marsupials cryptozoologynews.blogspot.com...-search-results

This could be nothing, and I could of just have been watching too much hollywood-movies...

This is prettymuch all I got, I managed to get SSL working under my win$ (and im still not sure what im doing), but i used it to "decrypt" the insurance-file with both the ONION and the ROUTER password with blowfish (ROUTER gives an error when trying with aes256 decrypting]. What I do with the 2 new files I dont have a clue about, possibly they could be keyfiles for truecrypt ? Tried openening them with several programs but to no prevail.

This guy is just another Russian agent trying to rile up the populace into overthrowing the government. Probably has dinner with AJ every night.

I sure as hell wish I was, then my problems with my economy wouldn't of have been a problem...ever... And, i wouldn't need to explode my brain in mainly; trying to understand what then hell im doing, and secondly; trying to get this file opened in full view showing whats inside...

But, yeah, im flattered when you call me a russian agent, makes me feel abit more imprtant then I really am in the real world... I so wish I knew what I was doing right now, so I could do it "right" and get this friggin file opened up.

By all means try but the odds of breaking it are infinitesimal.

I dropped the 256 from the file name and then for the heck of it played it on VLC. 12 seconds in there is a short burst of audio.

Has this been discussed? Sorry if it has.

I downloaded the file straight from the wikileak website.

VLC accepts almost anything, even if they are not media files, so the fact that it plays it means nothing.

Something that's not audio played as audio as an unpredictable behaviour. We can only ear sounds in a relatively short range, so anything outside that range will be inaudible, even is VLC can play it.

That only means that the file is not an audio file.

Still has me curious, though. I can almost hear someones voice for a split second, so I can hear it, it is in my hearing range. And it is very predictable, it happens at 12 seconds.

Actually, if the US government is overthrown, it'll most likely lead to a global collapse. The federal reserve is holding the whole world hostage China might survive but still loose a whole lot.. obviously not Russia. So in reality nobody with the means to do it is trying to, some I bet are even working to preserve it. Rep. party + fox news + glenn beck are your guys The whole tea party movement was created out of thin air by fox news for example.

Anyhow, there are two open approaches left to crack this:
- Harvest the computation power with flash banners to perform an extensive dictionary attack
- Break the algo it self. As of yet I've seen no objections that AES should be crackable with neural nets for example, only the considerations that I've got no skills to pull it off.
Sure, there also should be fellows with huge bot nets to brute/dict it, but that's blatantly illegal.

No, it happens at the 12 second mark (12 seconds from the beginning) and I let it play and I noticed another audio burst at 56 minutes..so, so far it has only made a sound twice, but at the same section.

Right now its at 1 hour 6 minutes and its about half way through the file.

It just makes me curious and its definetly not random because it happens at the same time every time.
Its like a quick burst of sound, wish I could record it and slow it down to see what it is..

OK, I understand it now.

It happens at the 12 seconds mark because there's something in the file that VLC can convert to audio that you can listen, and it happens always because the file does not change, in the same way a audio file plays a music always at the same speed.
