The only reason the Pentagon would have for making a statement like that is to SWAY PUBLIC OPINION.


Plus, it insulates them from Wikileaks, the very source of the leaked information which could generate legal reasons for the US to invade Pakistan...

Assuming Wikileaks is the real deal and therefore not currently a "CIA operation" or all the other stuff people throw their way, I feel confident in saying their modus operandi has been discovered, studied, perfected and put in motion.

Although, who's not going to be suspicious of new whistleblower sites from here on out?

[I get the irony that Cryptome predates Wikileaks.]
