Shalom was quoted as saying." Lets take a look at these three conditions.
1. That the negotiations start where they left off during the previous Israeli administration.
Many things were already agreed to. Starting over with each new Israeli government shows Israel is not really interested in peace only
2. withdrawal to the 1967 armistice lines.
These are the lines recognized by the world community. UN Res 242 suggests these lines are negotiable but those are essentially the
3. The settlement freeze should continue during negotiations.
Settlements are contrary to International Law so why should the Palestinians negotiate while Israel is breaking the law.
IF the Israelis conform with International law and conventions peace will come.
Israel has never kept her word which is why there is no trust.
