Anyone else notice a significant increase in "racial topics" in the news? Between the AZ law, the magazine "Essence" (black woman oriented magazine) hiring a white fashion editor, the Shirley Sherrod snafu, the sentencing of the officer who killed a black man, the tea party being called racist etc etc etc on and on.

These are all relatively current topics all over the MSM and the issues seem to bbrought up over and over ending without closure allowing people to "stew".

I'm beginning to think TPTB are trying to incite racial civil unrest or a "race war". It is almost too many unrelated racial issues at one time to be just coincidence. There is a method behind this madness.

They are playing on peoples innate racial emotions/beliefs and feelings and painting pictures with their MSM puppets that would almost make non-racial people start buying into racial ideas.

The reason I believe this is because I wouldn't consider myself a racist as I have friends and family of all races. However after watching 30 minutes worth of debate on any number of the current racial topics I find myself stewing over the issue with anger. WHY?

I actually feel manipulated, it is a conscious manipulation as to a subconscious one I am unaware of.

I don't have a evidence to support this theory as it is relative and you can't have evidence or proof of anything relative. You have to take it for what its worth either you feel the same or you don't.

I definitely feel like there is a push in the media to incite anger in people to fight with one another, whether it be for simple distraction from other more important topics or be a more complex catalyst for a larger agenda (marshal law).

Anyway its just something to pay attention to, as with everything on TV you are seeing it for a reason its a very calculated business.

The race card has been overused so many times. It makes me sad to be an American and hear people that have no reason to complain about racism.

I believe that the MSM have locked onto a ratings booster and will continue to push the race card until it stops gaining the ratings they so desire. I do believe that anyone exposed to a great amount of this person is bad because of (insert anything descriptive) the person will begin to wonder if this information is correct and possibly begin to believe it themselves.

A great example is middle school. I am sure everyone has a similar story but it always starts with hey "billy" did you know that "tommy" plays with dolls, picks his nose, or smells like feet. Then this spreads and all of a sudden tommy is the outcast and a cycle of bullying begins. Same thing is happening with the race issue.

I doubt all that. Glenn Beck is more of a shock jock for Fox. Yes, Race is more of a motive for far left moments in the U.S. It always has been. What I hate to see is everyone chooses to use name calling to get votes.

I agree with the parallel behind racism, I'm more curious as to why suddenly so many unrelated racist issues are on the TV with no closure in sight especially the AZlaw illegal immigrant issue.

I always look at MSM as a source of "reverse information" they show unresolvable incite full conflicts with no closure that seem to be designed to fester in the viewers mind. They paint pictures with talking heads inspiring a very predictable opinion/view/mindset/feeling what have you. The goal/result is division.

As my favorite comedian said it best, they talk about anything to keep people fighting with each other so they (the top 5%) can keep going to the banks, accumulating and consolidating their power bases.

RACE is a huge one and it always works, it feeds on itself. The next racial issue is more infuriating than the last because there is never any resolve or closure it builds and builds. Its a "Fed-up effect".

Big deal, so what I am a racist, I hate all humans.
Dog Power!

Really now, the MSM / PTB use the race card continually but it seems this time around some humans have evolved enough to recognize it and point it out.
YEEAAAH US!!
But I do prefer my dogs to any biped though.
Cept maybe my wife. My kids are old enough I'm not required to like them anymore.

I am free of all prejudice. I hate everyone equally. Arguments are to be avoided; they are always vulgar and often convincing.

Yeah, it really began to take off with the "black" president.

I put black in quotations because the POTUS himself, wrote that he came to a sort of crossroads. Where do I want to go? Raised by white people, but where do I want to go? He chose to take the "black" route.

I can kind of understand this. History shows that when a person is mixed in race with white genes, they have usually been considered "black" or "asian". Whatever. But the current POTUS chose black. He defined himself. rather than let other define him.

Still the result was the same, yes? He is black.

But, he was to be the "post-racial" leader. He could have been that. The numbers of white voters that were crucial for his election prove this.

However, he quickly started stepping on his own peepee. What comes to my mind is his reaction to the black professor being arrested. It wasn't all that innocent, was it? Nope. Police being callled to a house where someone was breaking into it. Yes, the professor lived there, but when affronted with police doing their job, he did become out of sorts. HE played the race card. And just soon afterwards, the POTUS played the race csrd.

And he continues to step on his peepee.

For someone who professes to be a post-racial person, he is clueless.

Verbally denounce the police, saying they were acting as racists, and then eventually, much later, saying he acted too soon, without knowing all the facts, well.............and recently. a black woman's word were shown out of context,well........she did admit., she ascted in a racist manner previously, just saying, but she was actually explaining how she had a major adjustment to her beliefs and actions, commendable, for sure. What happened to her? Fired! For saying racist comments! Taken out of context.

The POTUS doesn't know what to do? He's clueless. He lets color get in the way of his actions and decisions.

That's NOT post-racial. And his inability to know how to react fairly, and to not know how to address things, doesn't help at all.

He's racist. At worst. Bigoted at best. And his inability to look past color and sound bytes on websites and blogs, well, he is incapable of being post-racial.

And he's alienating people all across the spectrum of political ideologies and skin colors.

He's an epic fail for post-racialism........

I hope he wakes the f*ck up soon.

It's one of the best ways to keep the WHITE man down.

Anyone says ANYTHING you don't agree with....

Racist!

My question is, despite my color, how can anyone accuse me of racism? If they call me racist based on MY color, isn't THAT being racist? Oh no.. not if you are black or Mexican. They know more about racism than whites do, right? I know those black guys that were talking about me being a cracker the other day didn't mean that disrespectfully....

I want the "black Hilter" in jail. He threated my childs life. Will he be? no. But yet Rush L can't buy a NFL team because of things he said in the past? What about the Miami Dolphins owners? Most are multiracial, and have each said something discriminating against whites, yet they can have a team. I'm willing to bet "Black Hitler" would be able to. Something about the NFL being majority black?

Screw this way of thinking. If I had to live like this another day, I'd rather there be a race-war. I refuse to allow someone to call my child a racist before they're even born. Let alone me. I've never cracked a whip over anyone, yet I get treated as such? How does anyone even speculate MY bloodline goes back to slaveowners?

It's ALL about control. They want it. You would think that it would have been calmed the minute there was a black Pres. Now It's just gotten worse. Far as I see it, those people can kiss the stinkiest part of my butt, white or black. African-Americans rolled out in droves to elect BO. It was ALL about what color he was. THAT is what scares me most. How they just elected someone based on color, but yet we're racists? HA!

Actually, he did say that.

That was back when I liked the guy and listened to him near religiously.

It's painfully obvious that the race card is being used lately. It's also failing. People are sick to death of being called racists for disagreeing.

Obama and the left are on the ropes and this is a card everyone knew would get played sooner or later. It might be successful in motivating the base(s), but it's also driving away people that were on the fence and still buy into the left/right nonsense.

It will be interesting to see how the elections turn out.

Take a look at the President.

yeah, I am starting to feel the same way. I feel TPTB is trying to divide us. Everything seemed to be okay and then all of a sudden all this racial divide. I slowly noticed it right after college. I personally am starting to feel the effects of it. I myself find at times being racist towards one group. But I keep saying not all don't have that superior complex. But I notice the racial tensions more in the professional realm.

I always say this. People get tired of the race card, but do you ever hear the white man call it?

I heard it one time from a white man and was shocked to hear him basically call the race card.

And really lets be honest...its all about whitey...keeping whitey in check. They are simply terrified that whitey will block up like the other races and stand up for themselves. Notice that the whites are the only truly divided race in this country? You want to see a good fight watch whitey go at it with whitey.

Funny, Glenn Beck, Alex Jones has been saying that for 9 years. Sometimes I think all Beck does is Listen to Jones and steal the worst of his material and ideas. The man is pathetic.

The race card is just another symbol of division. Sadly pompous snips like Matt Williams make clearly racist statements and then less socially conscious people defend him.

At one point in time I used to think when most of the early boomers died off Wed see an end to racism. Apparently the MSM saw that too and is doing their best to make sure it doesn't happen.

Black/white/Latino/Christian/Muslim/atheist/Republican/Democrat/anarchist

^^

Will we ever get along? Who knows, but if we keep letting terms define an seperate us probably not. Don't get me wrong racism still exists. Ive walked into stores in west Virginia and cleared them out! I wont say I see it everyday, but I do see real racism at least bi-weekly, and these same people if they spent 5 minutes talking to me would no longer have an issue with me. The stereotypes are what people know follow and believe an that is the core of the problem. These stereotypes are taught and reinforced from birth so you can't really blame People. That stuff never really touched me the same because ive led an eclectic life, but most are sheltered.

Every time the media focuses on a race based non issue like the Sherrod thing...
they pass a bill like the financial reform bill.
It was passed the same day as the Sherrod stupidity.
Guess how many reams were in that bill and not pointed out to the public by the media?

we were discussing the financial bills passed under the cover of race incidents, and how people are so easily distracted by the race baiting here.
