U.S. nationals in Saudi Arabia have become a priority target of al-Qaida, reports intelligence newsletter Geostrategy-Direct.

Western diplomatic sources said al-Qaida has focused on attacking and abducting Americans in Saudi Arabia more so than other Western nationals. The sources said al-Qaida has targeted Americans in Riyadh to spark a massive flight among the more than 25,000 U.S. nationals in the kingdom. (snip)

This event could be another major influnce on the price of oil related products in the near and distant future. As the article states either the Saudis can't or won't protect Americans. My thoughts are that the Saudis are more afraid of the terrorist than they are of America.

It is doubtful that the Saudis can keep the oil flowing without American technicians and workers. Even if they do, there is the possibility that the goal of the terrorist is to shut down production there to weaken our economy.

Due to our lack of resolve in the Middle East and apparently no clear direction, the war belongs to the terrorist at this time for they strike when they will. We can win every battle, yet again as in Viet Nam, loose the war.

The only thing these barbarians can relate to is overwhelming superior force which crushes them.

We can look foreword to more beheadings of Americans, more acts of terror against the Iraqui government and their oil recources as well as the Saudis and their oil production.

Here is what we have gotten ourselves into. If you rounded up thousands of terrorist and executed them, more would come. If you went to a town or village the terrorist came from and killed everyone and destroyed the village, more would come. No matter what we do, up until we pull out, more will come against us.

Then when we do pull our, they will come for us in America. It is the way of radical Islam. Pulling out of Iraq to them is a sign of weakness. As hard as it sounds, the only solution is to crush them to the point it is impossible for them to wage war against anyone, ever again.

The ramifications of that are horrible to even contemplate, however, it could be we have no choice if Western Civilization is to survive.

Bush Light has really gotten us into a mess. I never thought I would ever see the day I missed Klinton, but stains on blue dresses beat the heck out of body bags stained in the blood of our soldiers and civilians.

Well, if worse came to worse, we still have national reserves. BTW, isn`t Alaska oil barely tapped? So, if needed we could expand that mre till the situation stableizes.

i just had a thought...... remember the recent reports of 98% of the US surface warship fleet has set sail? Well everyone is saying 'korea' 'China'

Well why not the middle east? Perhaps the US is out to finish the job...

They wouldn`t all fit in the med or the gulf.That would cause china and russia to clean the dust of the nukes.If that was U.S plan they`d probably do a japan and nuc first say f**k you when it`s to late.
