Hi, been lurking around the forums for what seems like years now. so Ive decided I may as well register and say hello.

Im Richard from Northern Ireland in little city called Londonderry.

My family came to the U.S. in 1794, from Northern Ireland. I've always wanted to go and visit. If you could give a brief desrcription of Life in modern day Ireland, I promise to read it, and reply. Great having you here.

I can't argue...this site is great! I think the appeal comes from the diversity of it's members and the content contributed to the forums for discussion and debate.

Top of the morning to you Richard. It's about 8am here on the southeastern coast of the USA.

We have one of the two largest St. Paddy's day celebrations just 50 miles north of me in Savannah, Georgia. It's a huge party with green beer and lots of good food and fun. It is second only to the celebration in New York City, New York.

Enjoy yourself and let's hear good stuff from you when you get your 20 posts.
