Are we going to become slaves to the wealthy?

Hello everyone-

So the last couple of days I have had this feeling that the governments all around the world (not just the US) are trying to break us down to make us slaves and kill off a major portion of the world. Our civilization seems to be going backwards at the moment and it seems to be on purpose not by accident.

First we have our gulf oil spill for the United States that i'm sure will end up killing millions of people.
If the BP spill wasn't bad enough yesterday a barge hits a well near the gulf and opens us another well? Is all this just bad luck, or another plan to get more toxins near residents?

Also the use of corexit from BP and the governments non response to this major problem. the refused to use less toxic chemicals and the government just sits there and does nothing.

We also can't forget the dumbing down of america. If they can make us all stupid we will just follow like sheep.

It seems kinda odd to me that all of a sudden all these oil spills are now happening so close together almost like they were planned. China had a spill a couple weeks ago and they had people out there with chopsticks and bare hands trying to clean it up???? I know the spill isn't very big to the BP spill but if you are using your hands and chopsticks to clean up the spill then its going to take a long long time.

Chinese workers were unequipped to deal with the disaster and were seen using items such as chopsticks and bare hands to scoop up oil. According to the AP, "China Central Television earlier reported an estimate of 1,500 tons of oil has spilled. That would amount roughly to 400,000 gallons (1,500,000 liters)

Russia is having alot of problems with smog. They say the fires that are burning are all natural but how do we really know that? Also there is other stuff in the air that they don't tell how it got there.

Other reeks are added to the smell of fumes in Moscow, since not only peatbogs and forests are burning. Moscow stikgs Hell nowdays, there is smell of sulfur, and norms for the levels of hydrogen sulfide in the air are significantly exceeded. The media do not explain the reason. Excess of hydrogen sulfide by as much as 30 % has been registered in the Moscow district of Marino, for example.

So after thinking of some of the issues of the world and wondering why this is happening I got to thinking. What if the governments around the world are tying to make all the common people slaves to them.

If all these major things end up killing millions and millions of people and acid rain and other problems kill all of our crops so we don't have enough food to feed everyone what will happen and who will survive?

The governments will have all the resourses and power to do what they want. We will be stuck as slaves to them and many of us will die. What do you think? Are the governments trying to dumb us down and kill us off so they can control the population thats left so we will become their slaves?

We've been share-cropping for king for at least 180 years here in America.

Every so often we get more kings and the king's share jumps up a bit.

We are a type of slave atm yes but what if the air becomes to toxic to breathe or most water becomes to toxic to drink? Could we all build our own domes that produces oxygen for us to breathe? Or our own indoor farm to produce enough food for ourselves without it being taken over by hungry people needing food? The governments could but not many of us, the common people.

Yes all of that is true and it is getting worse. What if you no longer hand any control though. We might be a type of slave atm but it could get much much worse.

hehe yes we can build a greenhouse but can you protect it from thousands of hungry people looking for food? Also, if the water is toxic how are you going to water the plants?

There are plenty of filtration methods that are viable with or without equipment.

Nobody lives up here. Those who do have their own farms. I dont anticipate many coming to steal my food. At least not many I or my neighbors couldnt deal with.

Now, the government coming to take what I have to give to a horde a thousand miles away. Not much I could do about that except die in a shootout.

We already are slaves. We've been slaves since the late 1700's when the United States "of America" became a corporation. When you really stop and think, do you really have any "rights"? No. The constitution talks only of "privilege", not of "rights". Yes there is the "Bill of Rights" but that... well we all know about that.

I was just talking to a co-worker about this today. How we are feeling more and more like slaves every single day. It's that very old saying, "the rich get richer while the poor get poorer". And the way things are going in this country, that will never change. Just look at the bank bailouts. Bail out the banks?? Really? Are the banks suffering? No, the people are. But we handed trillions of dollars to the banks, who low and behold are posting ZERO trading losses lately. Come on. Its all a scam to make the rich... well... richer.

100% agreed. We have always been slaves to the wealthy look at the monarchies, we still serve and pay the government only difference is we can choose who becomes all powerful, still the same chances of electing a crazy ruler.

I started a thread that was very much the same idea here.

As far as 'becoming slaves' we have only ever been serfs. The only difference between today and hundreds of years ago is the illusion that we have any power. What you are noticing is the that TPTB have finally reached a point where all the peices to the puzzle are on the table (or at least the border peices).

Now they start putting those peices together.

At this point right now we are not owned by anyone. Yes we are slaves to money, food, water, air, etc. but we still have choices and are not owned by anyone unless you join the military and then you are US property until you leave.

It just seems to me that the governments seem to be trying to lower our population right now. For what reason? With all the power grabbing going on it seems that they are trying to lower our population so it will be easier for them to make us their slaves and not fight them. I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the next year if we loose communications to others around us so we can't talk to each other. Think about it, if we all lost the internet and most phone lines except for the government then the only information we could get would be from local TV stations would feed us a load of crap just like they do now. The government could sweep through each state and take control and then we would be true slaves.

yes to you're question, and i'll do my best to keep them wealthy and to get a bit wealthy myself, even if its just for a bit.

try to help charities that work in a poor man's name.

It is this idolization of the rich that's killing us anyway.
Think they'd want to even be that rich if they couldn't make people grovel for a bit of a share of it?

When I work, I don't work for 'a rich man.' I work for me. If I build something, I hope to build it well so another woman or man gets a lot of good value out of it.

Ah.. but we ARE owned, by the government. If the police decide to stop you, question you, and then arrest you, you are owned. If the government can make the decision that you are a "national threat" and throw you in prison, much like Guantanamo Bay, where you will basically never be heard from again, you are owned.

I was once arrested for missing a court date. I had no free will to just leave the jail cell. I was owned by the system.

The truth is, we have no freedom. It is just a "happy story" to keep us believing that we are good and just people. To keep us standing behind our military as they "fight the good fight". Etc etc etc.

Well, personally I think the world is waking up to the truth and we are going to be the uprising, we will kill them all off, I ain't going down without a damn fight and nobody should!!!! I have my skill, my weaponry and I gotta lot of heart!!!! They wouldn't dare mess with this BULL or they are gonna get the HORNS!!!! This is what everyone of us needs to do!!!! Take what is rightfully ours BACK!!! What are you gonna do?

Well at this point I am working on some items that should generate some very good revenue for me in the near future. If those things go through I will use that money to buy a bunch of property in a state that is good for farming. I will build a few (or as many as I can afford) houses on that property and separate them to grow different items. I would also build a fallout shelter that would have large storage areas that we could store much of what we farm and also sell some of what we harvest to create more revenue so that we could build more farms and start a community that would all help each other. IF, and that is IF I have enough time to do all of this but i'm not sure...

This is how it's meant to be. Didn't you know all those wealthy people have just worked harder, the reason you are a slave is because you are lazy and not as thrifty as the wealthy. You should be happy the wealthy are there so that in hard times their charity will provide you with scraps of food to keep you alive. I mean we could try and distribute the wealth and even the playing field, but that would be a bit too much like Socialism and we cant have that because the wealthy dont like that idea.
The wealthy have also manage to make the slaves believe that any change to the system would be wrong. The slaves in fact ask the wealthy to represent them in their parliaments.

I can pretty much go where I want, say what I want to say, eat what I want to eat, etc. Now if I was to get arrested then yes I would be a slave, but I feel I am free to an extent. We do have some things in our lives like food, water, etc that we need to survive so we are a slave to those things. All i'm saying in my post is it seems the governments seem to be trying to lower our population because we are reaching a max population cap or something like that were they feel they need to try and lower our population.

When I can go get fast food and its cheaper than if I go to the store and buy stuff for a good healthy meal, I have a problem. When I hear of all the chemicals we are dumping into the water that we drink, I have a problem. When people are having a hard time breathing because the air is so bad, I have a problem. When the government lets companies put very dangerous and toxic chemicals into our oceans and does nothing, I have a problem. When governments make there own people clean up oil with chopsticks and their hands, I have a problem. When we spend more money on wars then we do helping the poor and homless, I have a problem. I could go on and on....
