could oil spills be covered up terrorist attacks

there just seem to be in the last year to many oil spills from australia china usa and more just google it on news could this be a new way for terrorist to send us down

I believe it was a terrorist attack, though not by the terrorist that you are thinking of. Rather, I believe BP and TransOcean to be the terrorists, though more so for the former. Also, there is no doubt the terrorists tried to cover up the extent and the magnitude of the spill by various means, so in affect, a terrorist attack is being covered up.
