My gf noticed this, so I told her I'd let the internet people weigh in.

I grabbed this image off "The end of America" (at 12:05ish), it's hitler sitting on his couch (used gimp):

Here's a picture of the oval office couches, & photo shopped clowns, from here

It looks like gw bush & hitler have similar taste in couches .. which I find totally hilarious... I'm sure cheneys cousin obama approves as well.

I say "lol", what say you?

well yeah, but you can see the print on adolph's sofa is black, but the print on the oval office sofa is white, so kinda non-conspiratorial. but even if it was, i'm sure the fault could be attached to that veritable gorgon barbara bush, or, best case scenario, librarian laura. not obama's fault. hello.

I get it anyways....yer not crazy...unless i am too.....?
The similarity is too striking....perhaps a personality trait of power seeking megalomaniacs? Is this possible psyche wise?

Actually, the "couch" in the video is really a seat where as the "coach" in the oval office is in fact a couch...

Guessing no one who has replied so far is a woman.

As a woman, I see right away that the style of the furniture is quite different. Hitler seems to like tufted backs, exposed legs, and rounder profiles. The style in the Oval Office is more "traditional", no tufting, skirted bottoms and tailored. The fabric is different as well. Hitlers is tapestry, the Oval Office is damask. Totally different.

Think I'm wrong? Go furniture shopping with your spouse.

Maybe they're just from a special presidential/dictatorship collection at ikea?
I must say though, what looks to be flowers and leaf prints isnt exactly the best look to go for if you wish to be respected leader with good taste in furniture.

Good find, quite humorous !

GW and Obama love that resolute desk as well.

en.wikipedia.org...

I bet the Islamic folks liked it when Obama put his feet up on it,
that is quite the insult in the middle east.

forum.woodenboat.com...

But from the photos it appears the desk has been disrespected before, LOL.

I always pictured the president as having some nice manly leather couches.

Not that gross shiny leather, but the soft, buttery kind. And I always pictured Hitler as a wooden chair kind of guy with no time for comfort, since he was so busy ruining lives and plotting world domination.

I thought "nawww", but i'll be damned if the patterns are not oddly similar. I haven't dug around for better pics.. yet.

According to "conspiracy" folklore the illuminati / PTB / 4th Reich etc hide their allegiances in plain view.. on that note it would make perfect sense 1930s national socialists & 2010 DC Mafia just happen to share interior decorating tastes.

..and ok, I get the difference between a couch & chair.. agreed they are not exactly the same, but damn similar.

Just one of those quirky observations "as seen on the internet"

I highly suggest watching "The end of America", it's a disturbing history lesson.. netflix on demand, and/or:

I once bought a couch that was previously owned by Jon Voight....not the actor, the dentist.

Now that's a conspiracy!
