CNN report Strange unidentified object floating away from from Nasa

The spacewalk Tuesday was meant to replace a video camera and update cable connections to a module of the International Space Station.

However, the question every space buff wanted an answer to is: "What was that I just saw floating away?"

Just watching CNN newsroom and I saw this footage, (they looked pretty embarrassed to be reporting such things). Not expecting to see this type of stuff on CNN It kind of caught me off gaurd. Anyways I thought it was cool so I decided to find the article and post it to see what the ATS crowd has to say about it. Those objects look very strange to me, but I feel if it was anything to significant CNN wouldnt be reporting it in the first place.

can you post a still of the object? i can't seem to make the video work for me.

I think it is a refrigerator, they made note that they dropped something, and it does not look like it is traveling with intelligence.

If it was a refrigerator full of Bud Light then, they are all feeling sad today.

Aliens will find it and have a party.

No i dont think its a fridge because it is bright. and because NASA has yet to figure it out. and how would a fridge get outt of a space station.

It looks like a person and is definably changing its shape. very interesting.

Possibility that it was something that was dropped.

It looks oddly like a pair of floating Playboy bunny ears to me. On a headband.

Watch closely, and you will see it when it rotates.

Why dont we have a smiley with bunny ears?? MODS!

It looks to me like it gets Really bright for like 10 seconds I cant decide whether thats a reflection or whether it was the object that created the light

It looks like a toilet paper roll in space... or a sock.. I don't think its an alien... its probably just space junk

I noticed a dot moving out of the picture at 00:46 up to the right?

Probably some part of a spare space suit that's supposed to be attached and got loose during depressurisation of the cabin. Perhaps some inner lining, or backpack attachment.

That is weird. It doesn't look like anything I have seen before. Maybe my understanding of space is flawed, but if were to push something out into space wouldn't it only move in the direction it was made to move? Isn't there zero inertia? I ask this because that thing looks like it is changing directions and speed, which I thought was impossible in space. It's not like there is any wind...

My first impression is this object is Superman. If you look closely, you can see a cape and arms outstretched.
