About all I can say is this.............

When I get off of this mountain, you know where I want to go.
Straight down the Mississippi River to the Gulf of Mexico.
To Lake Charles, Louisiana, little Bessie, girl that I once knew.
She told me just to come on by, if there's anything she could do.

Play me a song Curtis Lowe!!!

I've been seein'.
All the things you believed in.
Drawin' tears from your eyes.
I just can't see.
What'd make you this way.
It's not me I keep prayin'.

Eric Clapton with Duane Allman - Mean Ol' World.
This is a mean old world, try and live it by yourself.
This is a mean old world, try and live it by yourself.
Can't get the one you love, have to use somebody else.

Go out yonder, peace in the valley.
Come downtown, have to rumble in the alley.
Oh, you don't know the shape I'm in.

Summer in Dixie, has sure been cold. Even when the sun burns hot enough. To melt the tar on the road. Way down in my heart, a north wind blows. Summer in Dixie, sure been cold.

Just one more morning, I had to wake up with the blues.
Pulled myself out of bed yeah, put on my walking shoes.
Climbed up on a hilltop baby, see what I could see.
The whole world was falling down baby, right down in front of me.

I think we can stand some more Drive-By Truckers. Gonna see them and Cowboy Junkies the same week in November this year

I really wanted to put "Outfit" on, but that's not on youtube

Sorry, the videos crappy, but the live stuff didn't have great audio...

If we're gonna have Eyehategod and Primus, we can have some Corrosion Of Conformity.

and finally some Ben Weaver.

Almost all good music started down south. Any modern sound that you enjoy today was likely originated in the south, it all has deep roots in southern blues, folk, jazz, rock'n'roll and country.
