I stumbled upon a very strange book called 50 things you are not supposed to know. It’s written by an unknown author Russ Kick. It was so interesting that I spent all evening reading it. Only 68 pages and each page had it’s own set of surprises.

I don’t know about if it is true or not as I don’t have any means to verify if it is true or not. Sharing this with you is probably the best way to know the reality behind this book.

Noticed i took the time to bold that segment at the top so before you start up the old flame thrower, remember this isn't set in stone.

Edited to add: i had the entire list posted, but I'm guessing there is some new site restrictions that keeps that from happening for some reason, please take the time to click the link to see all 50.

"Two Atomic Bombs Were Dropped on North Carolina"

I think I remember reading about this, however I believe that yes, they were dropped, but they were not detonated, if memory serves.

Wish they gave some sources for their statements...

Interesting read anyways

This is in an ebook form you can download from places like rapidshare. I have read this before. I believe this is true or at least there is some credible evidence to back up the claims.

Many I have read before in other places and many can be easily verified, like # 9 nukes dropped in N. Carolina.. this really did happen.

i may be missing the point - but IMHO this book is utter twaddle

WHY are we " not supposed to know " these things

and why are several widley publicised ????????

a few glaring examples

09 Two Atomic Bombs Were Dropped on North Carolina

i would wager that everyone with any interest in cold war military aviation kew this - and about a similar incident in spain when a b52 colided with a tanker

the writeup also indicates that the incident is well known in north carolina

10 World War III Almost Started in 1995

i watched a TV documentary about this - why are tv documentaries made about facts i am not supposed to know ?????????

11 The Korean War Never Ended

this fact is cited in many book on the korean conflict , in many documentaries etc etc

16 Adolph Hitler's Blood Relatives Are Alive and Well in New York State

again - the subject of a tv documentary i swa- why do they do that ????

i could go on - but you get the point

I think the motivations of the book, and the title, presumably, are meant to suggest that you're "not supposed" to hear about it. Not suggesting that you "haven't heard" about it.

Or, it could be implying that, "You may not know, as most do not, but.."

Also, I don't find the list to be "twaddle", some of it is extremely interesting. Especially the Auschwitz tattoo being an IBM code. I was just reading something about American corporations involvement with the Nazi's during WW2, in a thread about filmmaker Oliver Stone, of all things.

There were originally 613 commandments spread across the 5 books of the Talmud, which the Old Testament was based upon. Full list here.

Frankly, I think the title of the article is misleading. Nothing on that list is knowledge that anyone is suppressing, it's just knowledge that is obscure in nature.

I totally knew the thing about Sagan toking up. I heard that around the time he died in the late 90's. no wonder everything was "billions and billions" (which is apparantly something he never said in The Cosmos)

Oh, jury nullification is there (no22). It's not long when 2 activist who were distributing jury nullification leaflets outside a court house were continously harrassed by security. I believe that happened something like 3 times and on the 4th they attacked them and arrest them for assault. Haven't heard what happened to them thought.

Concerning #2:

One of the Popes is suspected of doing a little more than writing an erotic book!

Pope Paul II (1464–1471) was alleged to have died of a heart attack while in a sexual act with a page.

"11 The Korean War Never Ended"

I just read this in an article on ATS yesterday in regards to the current situation with N. Korea. But hey we know it now!

Book is legit - many of us here know (or easily suspected) much of it.

It's been around for quite a while now - and not really sucessfully debunked.

A good read especially for those who might not have been exposed to such ideas.

The 10 commandment thing is a bit of ridiculous though - I'm sure that's just trying to play to the athiest crowd with little pay off.

I find most of the rest definitely still relevant today!

You never knew the Korean War never ended? The war started on 1950. Now it's 2010. So the war has been going on for 60 years.
