I have to say I haven't totally crossed them off my list either! In the opinion poll of my head, they are currently running neck and neck with a Howard-less Tory party and a Blair-less Labour. Do I qualify as disillusioned?

Seriously, once the Euro debacle is over, we're going to see a lot of new faces come to the fore, since so many of those current politician's positions will be untenable.

I wouldn't be at all surprised to see Straw and Portillo as Labour and Tory leaders respectively at some point.
