So... Oliver Stone is a Jew hater and denies the Holocaust (with a capital H, because it's the only one worth mentioning in recorded history)? I bet he also calls for the destruction of Israel, too.

I don't see hypocrisy here, Slayer. Opportunism, maybe? But I could be missing something.

As for Stone "going there" I can't say as I disagree that both the propaganda about and debate over The Holocaust has been very pervasive and controlled through the decades. It was so effective that many people still believe that over 6 million Jews died during something called The Holocaust and that they and they alone were systematically singled out.

One way of looking at it for certain, particularly if you are in that subset of humans who died during a terrible era all around, but not a way that serves the world or history or the millions of other people who died during WWII and the pre-WWII years any justice.

That's what many antisemitic groups would like you to believe that the Jews/Zionists are trying to push! When in fact I have yet come across any Jewish group that has yet made the claims that they were solely systematically singled out. Most if not ALL Holocaust survivors will tell you that there were plenty of non Jews that were also gassed, shot, buried alive, kicked punched hung. etc...

Let's get that misconception squared away.

He's not a denier you silly pants.

He just wants to be able to have an open debate about it. It's currently against the law in some parts of the world to say that 5,999,999 jews died during the holocaust, instead of the globally accepted 6,000,000+. Which is odd, isn't it? You can only say one number, otherwise you're deemed a 'monster'. Very few people will even talk to you if you begin to ask some questions about this, like the entire event is a taboo topic.

Meanwhile, it's not even completely believed that there were that many jews in that region at that time. It's not to say that it didn't happen, it's just probably that it didn't exactly go down like how our mass-produced and distributed history books claim it did. And anyone that speaks up about it gets 'reemed' by people like yourself - that don't even want to open their minds for a second about it.

There's even a few strong theories that there weren't any gas chambers due to the fact that they would need to have proper ventilation chimneys to remove the gas after being used. In order to prevent the soldiers from getting killed by the same gas as they opened the doors. Therefore the chimney would have to be (Not sure the exact height, but somewhere around) 12 feet above the roof, which would have been clearly visible in any arial photos. Which they were not.

There's like a bunch of little things like that. Personally, I'd much rather hear about who was involved in letting Hitler get to power (and helped him sustain his power), and who influenced the decision to kill a bunch of innocent jews, instead of nitpicking and fighting over how many and by what method. But that's just me.

It's STILL a very sketchy period of time and will always remind me of the chilling statement - "Don't let a good crisis go to waste" - Which the phrase itself wasn't around (I think) but you can be assured that the sentiment surely was.

Oh man, did someone who simply wants history to be corrected with truth and be unbiased just get called a jew-hater?
