This was a waist of my time. You act like you have never heard anyone say they would kill Obama Bin Laden.

Do you think this kind of extreme thinking will become more prevalent too? I guess it could be viewed as 1.) contagious to many and 2.) encouraged by some?

Thanks for the laugh. And no, I've actually not heard anyone say it in public before. I've read it and read about it, but I've never heard it said out loud.

You're arguing semantics here... Most of the people that voted, voted for him. It should be noted that it was by a near Reagan-like landslide as well.

Most people may not be murderers, but Obama certainly is. He has sent thousands of America's young boys to die for his personal agenda.

Were you born in 2009? You must have been, because to say that Obama sent these people off to war is the second stupidest thing I've ever heard someone say. Both Afghanistan and Iraq were started under GWB.

First off, let me say that I don't wish death on anybody.

Now, with that said, I'd like to make it clear that I would miss NO ONE in office at this time.

Not the President, not a single Congressman, not one Senator.

They could all fall off the face of this planet and I'd be a happy man.

I haven't met a single person that currently occupies an office that I truly think has the best intentions for the American people in mind when in Washington.

Would I miss the President? No. Do I want him dead? Certainly not.

But, I want them ALL out of office and on the street looking for a REAL job.

If these people were dependent on hard work to feed themselves, they'd starve to death within a month.

Well. my dad and my aunt are that age, and quite a few of my friends are elderly, and they're not running around in public saying things like this. At least I hope not

But as a few people have mentioned, they're heard the same things...on Skype, at the VA hospitals, so maybe it's not as uncommon.

As for the Bush similar scenarios, covered that in a previous post. To summarize, I don't think it was on the same level and it took a lot longer to build to that point.

I just turned 57, so I can kinda identify with some of these people. I grew up in the golden age of tv. When Cronkite and Huntly/Brinkley came into your home each evening and explained what was hapening in your world. Some of the older people still believe that it can't be a lie if it was on tv. Some of these people still believe that the president actually has a say in his actions. They are afraid and they are being told that it is all Obama's fault.

Now you're talking about people being hypnotized by Fox news? wow. People actually talking about standing up and defending their constitution. Your viewpoint on this shows how pussified as a nation we are really becoming.

We have just accepted that there is going to be corruption in government. Our government is for and by the people. You accept what you accept at your own peril, but don't think for a microsecond that because you are willing to accept it, that the rest of us who aren't are being manipulated.

It is your pussified brain that is manipulating you into believing that you can't do anything about it, or that it isn't worth it to try. OF course it is worth it to try. You'll realize this too, once it's truly too late. Technically it's never too late as has been shown throughout history time and time again, but the price gets higher every day we let the pussy inside us tell us it's better to do nothing...

There's only so long you can put off action in the hopes that others will make things better for you. Wake up. \

Here's a similar story to the OP. Someone I know was in the local art market downtown and was talking to the owner there about how bad the oil spill was. Now the owner was a fairly well dressed and educated woman (not your Joe six pack hunkered down for revolution with all his assault weapons). Anyhow, her reply to the oil spill was that IT WAS THE FAULT OF THE GUY AT THE TOP AND THEY NEEDED TO TAKE HIM OUT! On clarification, she acknowleged that she meant assasination because he had caused the oil spill and every other evil imaginable.

We are a truly sick society and the seeds of violence, hate and barbaric behavior will ignite in this country at the first opportunity. I want so bad to leave this country before we fall back into the throes of another stupid civil war. We are a country of supposedly 90% "loving" Christians and just as hateful inside as the most terroristic peoples on earth (given the right circumstance). Hypocrites all.

No that's normal. Me and my friend were jokingly talking about it too. I promised I was going to burn down the federal reserve and he was like "really?" So I just said "fine, you can have it as you mansion. We'll put in a pool."

That's America these days. It is not surreal. Me and my friends even bet on how long until the government collapses. I say 2015ish, he says 2012ish. It's common talk at university town.

Ok first I am 45 and I do not think of myself as an "Old person", nor do I believe as those people in that office.

There are a lot of issues going on. When I hear talk like this, it usually goes along with "and America will be great again!", as if the ghost of Ronald R. will rise from the grave waving a flag to lead us to the promised land. This reminds me of the talk that comes from Russia about the "good old days", you know, when they used to be "important".

Reality is though that America is not a great as we used to be, suddenly we are relying on China to make our toys and buy our debt. Suddenly America is not first at everything. Our middle class is being squeezed out of existence. The majority of the wealth of America is controlled by 5% of the populace. The American educational system is failing at every turn (How else could words like Socialism scare so many). Its a bitter, bitter pill to swallow and most are refusing to take it and want instead to live in a fantasy world populated with Rosey the Riveter and a Buick in every garage.

The American people are looking for a scapegoat and instead of looking in the mirror and taking control of their political system by using their votes, they blame the man in office. Blame is what we do as we sit on our poor, fat butts.

Most of what you mention here already happened due to the Patriot Act. In addition, the bailout snowball was set in motion during past administrations, so while what you say is VERY alarming and might be VERY appropriate, it is not necessarily a reflection of a single man or administration. However, what someone mentioned, and which I'm not sure doesn't have some merit, about what kind of "news" someone watches could well explain some of the reactions like these that we're seeing.

Wrong it is.... as long as whoever is in office is not actively and loudly petitioning to get rid of past policies that usurped the peoples rights, then they are responsible for them.

Obama is much worse than just letting bushes jacking us over stand. He is perpetuating bushes jacking us over with much worse policies limiting our personal freedoms even more.

Unitl the sixteenth amendment and personal income taxes are gone, until eminent domain is gone, until the cotus is followed to the letter, any man or woman in office needs to be adamantly demonizing these policies or needs to be sent packing violently or otherwise, whatever it takes, because if we continue to let them usurp authorities endowed upon us by our creator, then we will continue to lose more and more until what we have left is a massa' whipping us into obedience and no one wants that....

Yeah, it was probably Sara Palin's "Death Panel" lie.

Sounds like these were all old folks....not Obama's voter demographic. They probably reflect on the "good old days" of segregation

Oh, look at that. Right there on the first page, some ignorant troll throws down the race card when race was never even mentioned. One big problem with this country is that certain people get to do whatever they want - including destroy the country - because the color of their skin means its "racist" to say anything about it.

Maybe these old people want Obama dead because he promised "change" and it's been nothing but business as usual? Maybe they want him dead because they worked their lives away saving up for retirement, and now Captain Communism wants to tax them back into poverty to pay for social programs that the government can't afford? Maybe they're in that doctor's office because they really like that doctor, and they don't want some convoluted health care bill screwing with the medical decisions they've spent 60 or 80 years making for themselves?

Or maybe they just want him dead because he's just another bought and paid for politician, and they're tired of being played like fools by bought and paid for politicians.

As for Fox News, they are nothing more than the controlled opposition. Whenever one political party is in power, the MSM always has at least one big media outlet oppose them to make sure the majority of the population remains divided into just big sides. They control the population by making it look like we have a choice. If a third party developed, it would be disastrous for them because then we actually *WOULD* have a choice.

Me? Yes. Of course. It's not a partisan concern. It's alarming whoever someone says they want to kill. Covered three times before in this thread. However, I never heard someone say it in person in public with that degree of extremity. I think there are more than a few discussion point here, most of which have been touched on quite well.

What people don't realize is the Presidents aren't the head of the beast. If you were to do such a thing it would only move the most evil in line that much closer to the head of the beast.

Remember...2 Skull and Bones members ran against each other in 2004 thus your choices looked like this.

Skull and Bones candidate (A)
or
Skull and Bones candidate (B)

Essentially they do these things intentionally as if they are smashing a big maggot filled turd in your face, in your mouth, and sticking a fork in your pet saying..."Whacha going to do about it ace"?

Many of you haven't even put together what they did to you with this president (OBAMA) regarding MIND GAMES. Most of you professed smart people in here and other public forums write it off as coincidence or reading into things that aren't there. I'm here to tell you that you are wrong wrong wrong and blind on so many levels.

The MIND GAME with this president that most deny and is keeping most of you sick:

President Barak Hussein Obama

Obama sounds a lot like Osama as in Osama Bin Laden (no coincidence)
Hussein? well that is the last name of the former leader of Iraq. Remember that cat we hung several years ago? Saddam Hussein. (no coincidence)

They love to mess with your heads and they do a damned good job at it. Fortunately most of you are not aware of it and thank God for that, no telling what you all would do if you knew at the bottom of your core that it was true..

However they get a a big kick out of it.
I'm convinced they write these stories out long before they happen. No matter how crazy it sounds but I'm willing to bet they had Obama chosen to be the 44th president when he was born possibly even before. Leaders are not elected, they are selected and groomed.

They all basically have the same policies but it is the little mind games they play with you that ticks me off the most especially because you would deny it even if it meant your death. You write the ones off as insane that try to inform you of these things that are most often over looked or poo poo'd away as nonsense.

Pay attention people. It is usually the things that are most hard to believe is the truth.

As far as I am concerned...I don't really care if you continue to deny it all. I take that back, I do care or I wouldn't be saying all of this as crazy as it sounds. But as far as not caring... It isn't me that is getting a maggot stuffed turd rubbed in my face.

When it all boils down to it, us on ATS will be the sane ones with a level head. Imagine that?

I highly doubt it. I have never in my life seen so many people buying into ideas and announcing they are facts.

The bottom line is that we know near to nothing about what's really happening in the world and if you can't admit it, than you have a problem being objective.

I can't remember the last time I read an objective post on this website. IE one that isn't fueled by emotion. 95% of the people on these forums don't have the patience or emotional stability to truly consider ANYTHING of value that may or may not be introduced here.

Objectivity, open mindedness, honesty (with self)........You will find very little of these things on this website.

However, you'll find a lot of speculation masquerading as the truth.
