Enlightenment is a short trip. 14 inches. From head to heart.

Find the love in each moment, and with enlightenment there may be challenges but each of these challenges causes you to come out stronger. I do not say do not have fear - I simply say that there is no reason to have fear.

There is nothing to fear at all and once you understand this then you are thinking in the deep roots of the mind understanding the truth that you are a entity of eternity/infinity - but, again remember from the head to the heart and when you start to think with the heart you will see profound and very real wisdom.

I often feel the same and I am not crazy and there are a lot of 30 somethings that play the video games, etc. Maybe turning off the games is correct but why put someone down. Those are the kinds of thoughts that get the planet negativity. shame on you

Well, this one way of putting it.

I remember once when I was just starting I tried to meditate too hard. One time, I came out meditation with dizziness so bad I collapsed on the floor and had pain in my tailbone and crown for 2 weeks after. Electricity on my tongue. The taste of the afterlife. You can look on this as kundalini, or not.

What I don't want to see is people going straight into nervous breakdowns because they start playing with their chakras and think enlightenment is gonna happen tomorrow. Then, why hasn't it happened? I must meditate harder, etc.

Now, you and I may no longer feel fear, but we remember what it was like. It's a big jump. It takes time. It's serious.

That's all I'm saying.

It would seem that your throat chakra/indigo energy center - may be over active. Like a circuitry fuse being blown out. However; take this with a grain of salt.

Actually, a manual would make things much easier as no one comes to this planet with a handbook on self-mastery. Since much of the planet is set up for materialism and deception, it would make things much easier if someone printed a real copy of how to achieve higher states of consciousness so that they don't have to weed through a bunch of manure in order to find in themselves what is truly important.

Additionally, If this is a plea for attention on the part of the OP, you gave it to them, whether positive or negative. If you feel that the OP is simply doing this, why take the time to give them attention in the first place? This statement of yours tells me more about you than the OP in which you have chosen to berate.

The ultimate question here is, what is your intention? Do you seek to bring others down, or do you seek to provide useful information that might help another try to find who they really are? Are you being constructive or destructive? And if you're being destructive, which you clearly are, is there any other reason for this other than to bring negativity to a thread which has absolutely no content which could be viewed as adverse, insulting, or aggressive?

My friend, what I was talking about was 20 years ago. I think my chakras are ok and I'm only as much indigo as we all are.

So your diagnosis I'm afraid is a little off.

I made a spelling error as I should have stated 'May have been'.

The indigo ray center is of the throat after the green ray center which is the heart, not having to do if you are Indigo or not, .

A chakra can be overly active and underly active (blocked) each of the spectrums causing a lack of energy flowing to higher centers.

Fascinating thread and apparently something a lot of people are interested in and have opinions about.

I disagree with one thing in your original post and that is the idea that this is a prison. The analogy I would use is that we choose to play this game. When you play a game you agree to the rules and boundaries of the game. When we awaken we understand that it is just a game and that who we are is greater then the game piece we agreed to be......but we are still in the game.

So, the next step in my mind is to understand why we agreed to play the game. What is the point of it? Is it to “win”? Is it to enjoy the experience? Is there some ultimate goal we are trying to reach?

My thinking along these lines has led me to consider consciousness and time. If our true self is as many believe an infinite being then this experience of linear time and a finite existence would be a unique experience. I am starting to believe that our goal here is to develop consciousness in that realm. I used to assume that all consciousness developed in the same way but have come to believe that this experience may be something a little different from the norm.

TriggerFish has the answer closest to the truth of finding yourself. Learn how to meditate deeply. Transcendental meditation is where I started many years ago along with bio-feedback. I knew from an early age that I was different and just couldn't explain it. First truth you learn is there is no truth, no god, no good nor evil. There are only people on this planet that don't have a clue and are always pointing fingers and placing blame. People are the good and evil.

There is only yourself. With meditation, you may find that self. Once you "touch the ceiling" everything will become crystal clear. There will be no more fear. Its like a BS detector is automatically downloaded into your conscience. All these posts you have read and will read will become abundantly clear as to whom has transcended and who has not. You will change. Reality, as you perceive it, will be changeable. The uninitiated will recognize the change in you. they will accept it or be afraid of you. So called demonic and spiritual forces will abhor you for fear of being "ingested".

If you use this new found "power" for good, then you will find that karma is real. Using it for selfish or evil purposes will destroy you. I had to find out the hard way. As I write this, I am "meditating" that you find your enlightenment and that it will be a wonderful experience for you. It is powerful, use it wisely.

All my life, I had a feeling that I was "different", or that I didnt belong in society.

That is because you are unique, everyone is, we are as unique as everyone else as the world will tell you, you are or you can see that you are indeed actually unique. I am, you are and so is everyone because they have an experience to live and choice to make from it.

You have no love of money, that means you dont have a root of evil in your essence as a person. In other words you are an open book but you look elsewhere.

I never knew there were others that felt this way until I found this site. I really felt alone, although I never really felt lonely. Coming here, and reading other people's stories and experiences has broadened my once tiny spectrum of who we are, and what life is really about.

I have come to a conclusion..from loads of information...that, indeed we are slaves and prisoners on this beautiful blue planet. We, are in a prison, within a prison. The flesh body, is also a prison for the beautiful "beings" that we really are.

Humanity asked for rules from God, they got them. Humanity made the choice to take free will to its fullest and experience this life where you die at the end of it. You have two choices from God, accept your Jesus Christ as your saviour, or accept Satan as you saviour. Read the start of the bible as its simple stuff, the world complicates it. You think you are bowing your knee to a dicttor? Food, Life, Love, Fun and anything in life is just a small learning curve and at times a punishment for the choice that was made in the beginning.

look at it this way, imagine for one minute, you could see every single action good or bad that happens on this planet and try and tell me you wouldnt lash out. Could you really not lose the plot? God is patient, and evil will rule for some short time and then its going to

We can all only give you the tools to help yourself, but in the end you must find yourself. While meditating recently I feel I stumbled over the truth. To me the truth is that this life you are living is just an illusion taken in by your senses and there is far more out there and also dying isn't the end it is just your soul leaving your body. I don't know who said it here on ATS, but they said, "we are all spiritual beings living the human experience."

I did not mean to impose a rant onto your comments whatsoever - I have no reason to be trolling by any means. I am very sorry if I came across that way I was simple explaining characteristics of the energy centers/chakras, acting in a service by speaking upon the different centers.

My intentions were not negative and it may be that you misinterpreted the tone.
