I am one like many of the frequent visitors of this particular forum reluctant to the mark of the beast kind of approach of things. Browsing through some apps for my Android phone I came across this:

Scary or handy?

More info is found here: squareup.com...

Awesome for prostitution, drugs, etc.!

I found this on my Droid also, and I downloaded it. Haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I signed up anyway. Seems extremely handy.

I don't think it gets us any closer to the "mark." I think the SS#, Credit Record, Insurance Records, Databases, Social Networking, etc, etc. I think we have passed the mark already. It just isn't implanted in our body yet.

I suppose when cell phones are implanted in our skulls, we will be 100% of the way there.

Seen it last year no ones using it;
The only people I think it would be marketable to are prostitutes and drug dealers

Maybe if it was built into the phone
without having to buy an add on, then more people will use it;
I highly doubt it tho since its not considered essential for a phone....
