The commission is set to begin it's probe next week. They specifically want to determine if Israel broke international law during the attack. Likely the Israelis will not cooperate in the investigation. For certain they will NEVER turn over the confiscated video as it shows the truth. The truth is the greatest fear of the Israeli government (as with all governments)

They are also unlikely to allow the commandos that participated in the raid to be questioned. Israel will likely view the conclusions of the UN panel to be "one sided" and of course reject their conclusions.

Israel already completed their own probe and found that the army was unprepared, They don't need the UN to tell them otherwise.

Yeah, it's not likely they will cooperate: Netanyahu calls UN Gaza probe a 'kangaroo court' against Israel

[On a side note...can someone tell me why a the summary beneath the link in a Google result to an article would say one thing when the article never even mentions this said same thing and neither does the cached version?]

Will wait to see the result .. if any of the un investigation before making a decision.. But knowing how inept the un is doubt the investigation will do anything to solve the problem.
