Investigator's Report Shows Dozens of Defense Employees Picked Up in Child Porn Sting

Several dozen Pentagon officials and contractors have been accused of -- and in some cases were convicted of -- purchasing and downloading child pornography on government computers, the Department of Defense's inspector general's office disclosed in documents released Friday.

The investigation that led prosecutors to these government workers was actually part of a larger Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency sting called Operation Flicker, aimed at identifying individuals who paid money over the Internet to access child pornography overseas, according to the inspector general's off

I realize that people will be people, and in every crowd, there are freaks. But If you work in a sensitive government facility, how do you not know that everything you do online is monitored? I thought they had to have a minimum competency level or something.

I think this is great. High security level people busted for child pornography at work, on the tax payers dollars. Don't ya know they weren't just doing this at break time!

Not only do I hope these losers go to jail for a long time, I hope they have to pay back their salaries, too!

Did they really download that? Or were they just framed of doing that?

I really fail to see people would be stupid enough to download illegal stuff in the government offices, so that is not totally out of the possibility.

A really clever way to get rid of some you don't like actually :p

"Dozens" seems to be a tad alarming as well.

I was wondering when a story like this was going to pop up again. It seems like it has been a while since I have read anything dealing with these sting operations and high profile workers being caught. I'm just baffled at how they get enjoyment from watching children get exploited in sexual acts.

Actually if I remember there was a story on here about how it was possible for some of the pedophiles to plant their archives on another person's computer. Though being that this is a high security place an attempted break in would be noticed and could be tracked back to the source. The same could be said if it was internal as well. I'm sure they'd be stocked with footage of someone tampering with another person's computer or even sending it to another. No matter how much they could try and cover the tracks it won't be completely covered.

Much of the information is anecdotal and lacking evidence so up until now I never put much stock in it. In light of this development, does this point to systematic abuse at China Lake? It could be a mere coincidence that suspect worked there and happened to somehow retain these images on a Government computer. Or is this the tip of the iceberg?

It's the tip of the ice berg. But to your question about being monitored, it's a couple of things. One, the person isn't to smart and/or he things he's clever and knows the ends and out of the system. Two, the person thinks he's so high up and/or in charge of alot that he's not subject to things like this because of hubris and connections. And three, blackmail. I found out something by accident which I already knew but one of my family members commented about. He worked for the federal govt. before he retired and the whole govt. employee system can be extremely political. People are running around trying to find things on people in order to be left alone in a job and/or to move up. They may have known it was going on, but left it as a special present to be used someday for something or to destroy said persons. People have always said that they wouldn't do this or that no matter what somebody said or had on them, but it all depends. I'm not talking about murder (which is bad enough), but if your a family man and have 3 young daughters and is known in the community/neighborhood. The last thing you would want to be known as a peadophile, so to keep that secret you may do anything to make sure your not dragged throught the court of public opinion along with the court.

i wouldn't be surprised.. bohemian grove and skull and bones, read up on their sexual practices and know that our government is comprised of manny members in these societies.

Yes the operation has been going for a while, in my neck of the woods we know of at least one person working aboard the military base that was send home for months already pending porn charges investigations while at work.

Everyone in this current age of evolution MUST stop, pause and re-consider what TPTB is telling you, based on their history of covering up themselves over criminal anti-constitutional activities by using vile charges to make those they was want silenced to lose any chance of support and credibility.

Currently, there are news that TPTB's activities were being whistleblown by awakened humans within their organisations strikened with moral reprehension over what they had supported in the belief of getting a secure salary to provide for their famililes as well as protecting the nation. It turned out to be lies and thus the whistle blowing.

TPTB realized what is going on now, and the only way that they can contain the damage is to quickly damage the opposition's credibilities and frighten others to toe their line.

Vile acts such as porn, homos and pedo is already much too often used, and is easily recognised as cover-ups by many others. Just a whisper is enough to destroy someone.

Therefore, my insignificant word of caution here, to watch for developements instead of being rashly and foolishly judgemental which only ends up supporting TPTB's viler acts.

Truth and lies will be strewn in. Ultimately, truth will prevail.

The first I thought, yesterday when I saw the first report, was that this is either a)cyber-terrorism (i hate using the term terror) or b) major distraction to allow the thieves to stay in the vault a little longer.

Let's use our heads for a minute. How do you get "dozens" of people to participate in ANY illegal activity together? There is nothing on this planet that 2 dozen people can do in confidence for a sustained period of time.

This allegation will turn out to be something dubious once the shock factor wears off.

China Lake Naval Research Base (Inyokern), CA--This facility had a country store, and hangers, and a hospital (address for the hospital is the code- 232 Naval Air Weapons Station) which all provided sites for programming. This site has been operational since the early 1950s. Large numbers of children (batches of 1000 or 2,000 or 3,000 children were run through this facility at a time. This facility did much of the original traumas and mind-splitting tortures that created the MPD. Other facilities then specialized in further programming that was then layered in on top of the original China Lake programming. As a ex security officer at China Lake I can tell you this is BS. this was one of my patrol areas.

The so called hospital at China Lake was never more then a Branch Medical and Dental Clinic under the the US Navy Hospital San Diego.
It not in the high security area of the base.
Its a one story building of less then one acre.
And there not the room or personal to run batches of 1000 or 2,000 or 3,000 children were run through this facility at a time.
Nor is there anyplace to hide the same from the public.
This base was until 9/11 a open base except the military labs and range areas where weapons testing is done. The area is still open to all with a base pass.
