Geithner bored by complaints from business about Obama policies
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner on Thursday waived off complaints by business leaders that President Obama’s health care and financial regulation laws are creating uncertainty and freezing job creation, arguing that the administration has actually provided “a lot of clarity” for the private sector.
“Businesses always want their taxes lower and always want to live with low regulation,” Geithner said. “There is nothing remarkable, or particularly interesting frankly, that we’re in the midst of another debate, which you hear in almost any administration, with people looking for ways to help affect the outcome on the basic path of regulation and taxes.”
“Every business in America today is in a much better position than they were, not just 18 months ago, but than I think many of them expected to be at this point,” Geithner said at a breakfast with reporters hosted by the Christian Science Monitor.
Geithner acknowledged that there is some uncertainty in the private sector for business, but said it is caused mainly by “deep scars” still left over from the financial crisis of late 2008.
“The big uncertainty that the world is still in … is that people, again, scarred by the trauma induced by the crisis are still looking to see how strong is growth going to be,” he said.
Pressed by The Daily Caller as to whether he was rejecting out of hand a 54-page memo sent to Obama by the Business Roundtable, a consortium of businesses with $6 trillion in annual revenues, Geithner tried to evade the question by focusing only on Wall Street and the financial regulation bill signed into law on Wednesday.

Well it is official now, if you are a business, and have concerns about the new legislation, or choose to complain about the different legislations, the federal government is bored and thinks you are over reacting.
The current administration has a knack for insulting and alienating different groups from around the country, pulling different groups in and using them as they so see fit, only like a dog to turn around and bite the hand that is feeding it. The Obama adminstration fails to realize that the way that they are running the government is causing fear and uncertainity among the different businesses out there from the numerous pieces of legislations out there that are being pushed by the executive branch through congress. In their attempt to try to do the right thing, they are failing to see the problems in the long run, or are outright lieing to the public to get these bad pieces of legislation through. The laws and ideas seem like the correct thing, however when you look at the size of the bills, it becomes apparent that the only people who know what are in the bills are those who write them, as many of the legislators are not taking the time to read through them all. And when it is apparent that they are going to go to court, in court will often then turn around and confirm what the general public, who does take the time to read these pieces of legislation, have been stating all along.
The current federal government has no idea on what it takes to run a business, and has shown that time and time again. When currently the country is having economic troubles right now, instead of actually talking and finding out from the very people who could stop and change the direction of the country, they have choosen to ignore it. It is obvious that the stimulus bills are not working, yet they have managed to pass them time and time again, pumping money into the economy that is going no where or disappears, all along building up a larger debt.
Maybe the federal government may want to start listening to those who are complaining and upholding on its promises, or it is going to cause more and more problems in the long run for the entire country, taking years to undo the damage, the question will be by that time will it be too late?

Tim-the-Tool forgot to clarify just one little point - that it's only large, multinational business that is thriving in Obama's policy environment. [Big Wal St firms are doing quite well, as are the mega-rich]. It's only small business that is complaining. Who cares about them, right? They're just boring little people.
