France targets 'al-Qaeda militants' in Mauritania

www.bbc.co.uk

France has confirmed it took part in a raid against alleged al-Qaeda militants alongside Mauritanian troops.

France said it had provided "technical and logistical" support in the raid, in which several suspected militants were reportedly killed.

Nice to see the French getting involved. The reports I have read so far are very sketchy saying that the French only provided technical and logistical support and not saying if the hostages have been rescued from AQIM. I personally think that GIGN had allot more involvement than the media is letting on but time will tell.

Looks like the stupid dhimmis are off chasing the Islamic boogie man "al qaeda" again. The Jihadists laugh and continue their assault.

Hey, never mind the silent invasion of millions of muslims into France over the last few decades! Move along! Just some angry "youths."

Instead, let's go off and "fight" shadows.

The Mamluks invaded in the 18th Century, waging Jihad and forcefully converting the animists of the region to Islam.

I answered the "why." They did it to spread Islam.

The USA is irrelevant in this situation, so I don't know what to make of that comment.

Why would you assume automatically that it has something to do with the USA.
