As much as I like it, poetry is not something that I am good with. Are you suggesting that Yeats was iniatiated and knew of the plan and what it would lead to?

I disagree that conviction is lacked. The seperation is occuring and polarity is constant in all realms these days. The challenge is that the 'have nots' do not have the resources to engage.

I do agree that the 'haves' run around full of intensity. It is a sickly fake behavior like everything is so important they could just die. I wish they would sometimes.
