I don't know about that. Plaque formation in the brain is directly associated with alzheimers. High blood sugar and insulin are also associated
strongly with alzheimers incidence, hence the "diabetes" connection.
High blood sugar increases glycation and Advanced Glycation Endproducts which indeed promote plaque formation; however, it's not clear whether it's
glycation, from glucose, or another process that's directly related to insulin. In any case, high blood glucose is directly correlated with
