Let me tell you paranoid people why ATS will never be shut down, it can be found in one saying.

"Keep your friends close, and keep your enemies closer."

Most groups or so called groups will always post there agenda's, it's human nature to brag and boast, with that being said, I think it would be foolish for the TPTB to shut down any sites.

If I know where your at or what your thinking, then I can for sure predicted your next moves.

It's like a road map to human behavior and what they are thinking.

Just a thought...
It's odd, they pull a move like this. Why the whole web site?
Maybe, it's a first, of what is to come. By now I'm sure most of you have read about the the laughing man hacker on facebook. Maybe they are worried. What a better way to slap someone in to reality then to break their sense of security. Forcing someone to think about it.

I know here in Ontario, the govt and business' have taken drastic precautions after they have arrested a well known hacker and are denying him bail, after he claimed he would wreak havoc on the events the G20. Check it out.Maybe this is the terrorism they are talking about...
Hackers to back up infamous rebel.
A group has claimed they will take action if they do not release him. On the radio this morning, they said these people are the best of the best. Probably, start a thread on it.

You probably aren't getting many replies, because yes, this has been covered on ATS already, I'm sure I've been in about 3 threads already on it.

Anyway, this is just a case of a guy using the wrong hosting company.

The FBI/Government didn't shut this site down. They just told the hosting company that there was something they didn't like on there.

From there, the private company took it upon themselves to shutdown the blog service.

If the hosting company weren't such weaklings, they'd have just asked the blog service to remove the specific post in question, and all would have carried on as normal.

Some host services are better than others. This sounds like a bad one. It's especially true if you have a very low cost hosting service, they just don't want the hassle, even if no laws are broken.

For a site like this Blogetery, he clearly has Safe Harbor status. This means he cannot be shut down by the government as long as he complies with legal actions like subpoenas and DMCA takedown notices.

This is just a simple case of someone choosing the wrong host for the job.

At first I thought i was cracking on this one, but as I can see, more people have real concerns on this thread, but as we can see, 99% of the people only follow the TOP ONES threads on the frontpage, it´s jus´t like msm, people only read those articles that show at the startup page only about what´s HOT, these small threads are just garbage
