Here's my idea for choosing the president.

You get all the candidates together and put them in a circle.

Then you take a chimpazee, and fly him up to 10 thousand feet, strap a parachute to his back and throw him off.

You wait till he hits the ground and then however's hand he grabs first, gets to be President..

I'm not American, but I've been around enough of them and have studied America enough to know that you all have VERY short term memory when it comes to politics.

Your own memory doesn't serve you very well, the impeachment was based on perjury, obstruction of justice and malfeasance in office.

Did he pass the course? Last I knew he ordered his transcripts sealed. With that beside the point, who better to screw up this country then one who studied the constitution, who knows how to twist it against us?

Biden could shock me by retiring.
I think that is a fair assessment. The GOP is in no shape to wage a battle now. TTTP said it, maybe 2012 but not this year.

I think they'd like very much for Biden to go to Pasture, Retire, but keep his mouth shout.

I have to disagree. I don't believe the Democrats have the support now, not like they had in Feb. of this year.

So a Marxist president is worse than the War Mongering Big Oil guy you had before?

Yes, for the average American just about anything is better than a Marxist President. Marxism in the real world is as anti American as pissing in an apple pie at a baseball game on the Fourth of July.

And he's certainly not a Marxist, you know he studied constitutional law right?

People study a lot of things to learn how to work around things. It is no different than how many lawyers study law in order to find loopholes.

Throwing around words like Marxist and then placing Communist in the sentence below it is an oxymoron.

I didnt really even need to bring it up since his actions are clear to everyone with eyes to see.

All of this stuff is YOUR fault, the American people, for putting up with it. Don't point the finger at somebody else, there's always 3 fingers pointing back at you...

Couldnt agree more. Most of us would agree with that, and now we are going to start cleaning house and taking care of it, and if that dont work then we will up the ante.

Edit: woohoo I really f'd up the format of that one.

Well it was in REGARDS to the whole BJ thing anyway.

No BJ, no impeachment, therefore it was cause by that..Either way it was stupid.

I mean come on, look at Hillary and he was the President for the love of god, I'd be pimping it up in the White House too..

And he didn't even pick the smoking hot intern, he got it from the chubby chick down the hall.

That's class right there.

That's something I could get behind in theory but with the mood in Washington wouldn't that just lead to gridlock?

i would prefer gridlock instead the healthcare bill pushed down out throats, the massive continual spending with no end in site and the endless entitlements and the non stop outsourcing of american jobs and defense jobs and national security.

gridlock doesnt sound so bad when the government is forcing you to pay for a good or service.

gridlock doesnt sound so bad that the on going destruction of this country might stop.

my take:p

Yes, yes. A witch hunt that started with the Clinton's business affair and when they couldn't get anything on that they moved on to the BJ incident. Yes he lied, perjured but about who he had sex with? Ridiculous accusation and I don't blame him for lying. It was a kangaroo court. That said, this is a bit off topic.

I agree. I think that is why they went to impeach him. Do you really want a man with such poor judgement in women deciding the fate of the free world.

It doesn't matter who is in charge at the 1600 Pensylvania Avenue anyway, he's just the guy the country gets to hate while the backroom deals are made by greedy politicians and the lobysts.

Yes it could be far worse than Obama. I mean if we elected Chavez or Castro.

Palin is not presidential material, but even she wouldnt be as bad.

McCain also a jackass, even though I voted for him only because he was the lessser of two evils.

Fortunately for us we have 300 million people, and most of them are decent and not communists.

Fred Thomspon would make a great president or even Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul. Heck, even Hillary would seem like a step in the right direction at this point.

I'm actually a big fan of Chavez, but then again I'm part socialist...Anybody who throws big oil of their own country is a hero in my book.

Palin is not presidential material, but even she wouldnt be as bad.

Really? Not as bad? I'd rather have a President who knows the constitution, as opposed to the one without a high school diploma...

McCain also a jackass, even though I voted for him only because he was the lessser of two evils.

I think it's the other way around. Mccain had plans to stay in Afghanistan for 100 years he stated, also , he's just too old.

That whole Maverick mentally would have been horrible for foreign relations at this point. Would have done more harm then good. He certainly would NOT have hired Hillary as the Secretary Of State either.

Fortunately for us we have 300 million people, and most of them are decent and not communists.

Yup they just ain't all that smart when it comes to the guberment...

Ron is your best bet IMO. Even though he's a bit too old for my liking.

Either way, you need MASS reform in the electoral system before any real progress is made, regardless of the candidate.

Totally agree, tell that to the desperate though. Some think she's thew second coming of Reagan.

THAT is the problem with America. Don't get me wrong, I've voted that way too in the past but your choices absolutely stink. If more people voted 3rd party, give them some base, you'd be on your way to something productive.

Fred Thomspon would make a great president or even Newt Gingrich or Ron Paul. Heck, even Hillary would seem like a step in the right direction at this point.

Thompson? No way. He can't galvanize the GOP. Newt, just scared the # out of the moderates that actually decide elections. Ron Paul? Can't get the GOP base to follow, same as Thompson. Hillary, dude, you're just being scary now.

The GOP wants to be taken seriously and put a candidate out there that will be good for America, you need a middle of the road conservative. Romney. If he become president and screws up big time I will stop posting to American politics.

Edit: Doesn't he scream presidential material?

egadd its so brilliant it might just work.....im ready to try anything these days as nothing seems to be working currently we need a reform in the system but i do seriously and non sarcastically think that that would be a hilarious way of doing things! either that of have the chimp attack them and the last one standing or he who befrends/kills the chimp gets elected!
