You naive Europeans must understand something ... if you give them an inch then they will take a mile and the next thing you know you will be living under Sharia Law. It is not that we do not value life in America. It is that we actually value our freedom and our right to bear arms in order to protect ourselves from those that would try to violate our rights, including our own government.

I guess that would be hard to understand for a person that lives in a country that steals your rights and tells you that they are doing it to protect you and keep you safe from yourselves.

The sad thing for us is that some in our own country would rather have their freedoms stripped in exchange for having no responsiblity for their own lives.. like you brits.

Yes I have made up my mind. Any group that comes to another country, refuses to assimilate, lives on welfare and govenment housing and them threatens violence against the indigenous people are parasites at best, invaders at most.

The BNP is the British people. British NATIONALIST Party. Nation fisrt. British culture fisrt in Britain. People over there have been brainwashed by years of socialist leftists that they should be guilty for everything in the world and Anglos should just keep their mouths shut or else you are racist. As far as demonizing a whole sect because of the "few" that are extremeists, that bull$*&#. There is no good cancer and bad cancer. When the patient is terminal and near death, you dont pick and choose what doesnt belong in the system, you remove it all so the patient can live.

My question to you is how do you legally define a burka as opposed to say a scarf, or tying a teeshirt around your head in the heat, or a snow mask in winter, or wearing oversized sunglasses, or a wedding veil, etc....

So would it be ok if I wore something else that covered a great deal of my face as long as it was called something other than a burka?

Are you going to be so thrilled by the idea when they use this law as a precedent to ban you from wearing something you like to wear?

Trust me, this has nothing to do with me protecting muslim fanatics, but it is all about rights and the slippery slope that this would create.

I am always amazed at how fast people will give up their rights when it is presented to them as taking someone elses right. Are you so blind as to not be able to see that this could easily create a president to take away your right to wear something? Maybe you dont care.

Very good point. Since I dont live in Britain this foolishness will not affect me. Although I do see your argument and since Britain is a socialist state with zero ability to use common sense outside the state manifesto, well, you may be right. It should be specifically written to apply only to muslim dress. Fit in or get out.

I agree that people should learn the primary language of whatever country they immigrate into. However, at least in the US, we have never really had a problem with letting people keep their cultural heritage. I mean think of the Italians, Irish, Chinese, etc....

Though having said that those groups have always done a good job of wanting to be Americans and putting their ancestory or religion behind the importance of being an American.

Your are manipulating the fact that although the Qur’an does not explicitly say “were a burka” it is still a part of the Islamic faith. The Qur’an does however effectively say women should dress moderately so as not to show their beauty, your quote makes that very clear. Wearing a burka is just one method used to do this.

I was not accusing you of being a sympathiser with the BNP or EDL i was only pointing out how they would perceive this as a victory. And yes you are wrong i would not call these women BNP activists.
