Would you really delete your account from facebook because Alex said so? Is this what you are saying?

No Alex did not even say to delete your account first off. be fore you try to talk down to people know what it is you are talking about first. second If Face book is not allowing patriotic stuff like the gadsden flag which was MADE by and flown BY the founders of this nation and is American as base ball and apple pie. That is why..........

I always thought that Facebook was just a silly site for bored elementary children. Didnt know adults actually waste time on there. Whatever.

And Facebook has the right to do as they wish.

Edit: typo

No, I have never heard a single word out of Alex's mouth. I don't think I like him based on what I see on ATS.

BUT, I would delete my account because they allowed Obama to campaign heavily via their networking, and now they would limit my ability to network among concerned citizens.

If they banned all political talk, that would be fine. But if they choose the Tea Party to go after, then they are going to be just another teeny bopper site, not a real social networking database.

While I do value everyone’s angle the question was directed at someone else.
But I have looked into Facebook and found several pieces of patriotic material Gasden included.
I do know who Christopher Gasden was and the significance of the flag, no history lesson needed.
Has anyone considered that Facebook of which Alex still has 4 channels was tired of doing commercial advertising for Alex?
Please put the pieces together and decide for yourselves.

Facebook is that way on purpose, just delete your web history and cookies that should effectively log you out on said computer breaking the login bond.
Hope this helps.

I am not ashamed to say I have a fecebook account. It keeps me in touch with my brothers, sisters, children and grandchildren as we are scattered across the US. Plus since I have made 7 major cross-country moves in the past ten years it helps me keep in touch with friends from those areas I have left. I am also in contact with people from years ago that I otherwise wouldn't have contact with. I'm not worried about losing my privacy. What are they gonna learn? Maybe that I was a hellion in high school?

I can really see waht is going on here.
TPTB are wanting to divide this nation as may ways as possible so we will never have a true majority.

They keep us bickering over tivial stuff while the Govenment, which has lost its support of the people, continue their push for a Socialist Amerika.

The Conservatives are the only ones willing to stand in their way.

I have liberal friends and we can agree to disagree on tons of issues but I have yet to find one to defeat me on the right to keep and bear arms.

Were it not for the number of Americans owning guns we would be nothing more than cattle ripe to be herded where TPTB want us to go. I can see that hapening now and once they ( Government ) get their way and find a way to take the arms away, America will no longer exist as we know it.

I say that deleting accounts of people who display Tea Party paraphernalia by a private social networking site is their right. And I support who they are targeting, good for Face book.

You Righties can go ahead and delete all of your accounts, that would make Face book a much better place. It would probably end all child predators on that sight too.

So you're saying that all child predators are "Righties"? That's exactly the type of thing one would expect to hear from someone who rabidly hates certain people. Isn't that "hate speech"?

Keep yapping, Einstein.

What a hypocrite! The little philosophical sayings under your screen name - "Help tolerance" WTF??? You obviously tolerate no one's views but your own. I don't think ATS is the site for you. You might be happier over at some corporo-fascist MSM site. Just a suggestion.

I deleted my Facebook account a few months ago, when the privacy issue
flap was going on.

One thing about deleting your account: You must not log onto
Facebook for about two weeks-- I forget why, but you cannot visit the
site for a short period of time, or it nulls the deletion of your account.

Also have to get rid of your cookies, as well...

I checked Alex's site and it seems to be up and running...

A person has to be an absolute fool to use any of these so called social network sites in the first place. Volunteering personal data on the internet shows that one is completely unaware of reality. Heck, facebook was started with seed money from the NSA. Ancestry sites tract your family tree and you volunteer the info. Social sites tract your friends and acquaintances and associations and you would volunteer this info, come on get real. Wake up and look around at the real world.

A PHONE can do that as well.....

It is not enough to have logged and charted where we have been; the surveillance state wants to know where we are going through psychological profiling. It’s been marketed for such uses as blocking hackers. Things seem to have advanced to a point where a truly scientific Orwellian world is at hand. It is estimated that computers know to a 93% accuracy where you will be, before you make your first move. Nanotech is slated to play a big role in going even further as scientists are using nanoparticles to directly influence behavior and decision making.

This article explains it better. scroll down to the bottom It has many links and such

Why did you delete your comment? i just thought that to be sort of funny. You need to try and look at things from more than one small view.
