It is really hysteric and doesn't make atmosphere nice.
Also, it influences poor misguided children of ATS to be evil. Oh, who can bear the burden of... ok just kidding but really.
Does anyone agree with me? I think it needs to be removed, along with any other site images that subliminally influence forum members to act like ignorant 15 year olds.

I don't get what you're saying, how is making people act like 15 year olds?

I think is hilarious, and it goes well with ATS.

It looks to me like a lot of my teacher co-workers when they think their students are to something not good.

subliminally influence forum members to act like ignorant 15 year olds

Maybe the guy is just discovering shocking truth, the realisation is perhaps conflicting with his belief system there for inducing a shocked and awed * ducks * look?

Like Star Trek avatars? Just kidding, but you have to see the irony of someone using a Star Trek spaceship for an avatar and then complaining about images that may be perceived as immature.

It looks like some 30-50 year old ignorant nerdling who just found the guarded secrets of the gods, and is afraid and amazed of what he is seeing..

Its kinda cool in my opinion and fits the sight.

I think it's quite a well-chosen and comical image that Skeptic has decided to place. He fit's the perfect stereotype for us conspiracy nerds, and is in awe at what ATS is bringing to his attention.

Or should I say scarred? Anyways, he looks like a librarian that just found porn on one of the public access internet computers. SHOCKING! I say leave because what else would we put there, a dog, or bees, or dogs with bees in their mouth and when they bark they shoot bees at you... OK now THAT was immature.
Verbal Vomit.

I like the picture, I think it's fun trying to guess which thread he's reading.
My guess would be a post from the alien forum possibly discussing anal probes !

This cat has just been warned for abusing site policy. If you look closely, you can see the little red banner in his avatar in the reflection of his glasses.

That's my opinion, not a scientific theory. I have done no exclusive research on the matter.

Hey! Since when is Star Trek immature? It's watched by people of all ages, there are lots of old trekkies, my granma watches it too. BTW, did I mention that Akira class rules!
And no I wont put a classic ats avatar of alien sucking horny virgin's blood... that's immature if you ask me.

I thought that the ats pic is kind of, as you said immature, further causing conspiracists to be perceived as lunatics and such. I even heard reports of young ATS members being bullied at school because of that
Just kidding.

But anyway now that I have been enlightened, I realized that the one on pic symbolizes ignorant 50 yr old potentially fat, lazy american who is running away from cruel reality by blaming illuminati and aliens (do not mistake with reptiles)!
So he is like some cool mascot.
