Think the Senate race in Nevada is a circus? Well, it just keeps getting weirder and weirder:

The parts of the article are cited on [Reid's] website as an attempt to smear the Republican candidate for Senate. To quote his website:

[Angle] claimed last night that [77-year-old] Senator Robert Bennett, who was ousted by the Tea Partiers last month, had "outlived his usefulness."

Sound too good to be true for Democrats? Well, it is.

Yikes.

Maybe Reid is having a bout of megalomania or delusion ?
Many of them become mentally ill after being in Washington for so long.

Bob Bennett had this same illness and was cured by angry voters.

Wait. Saying he outlived his usefulness means you want him dead? Am I interpreting this correctly? People who interpret phrases this way and write headlines and opinions like this...well they worry me a lot.

When are any of them NOT having a bout of megalomania or delusions of grandeur?

Imagine this: You belong to 'the club' you get hyped by local celebrities and king makers to round up huge amounts of capital to spend on speech writers, publicists, image consultants, and media agents... they plaster your image all over everything in sight, you are hailed as the next best thing to the second coming.... people sensationalize you're every (scripted) witty comment, and your brighter -than-white smile is shone into every household... your "people" organize gatherings where fellow club members and partisans cheer you because your 'their' guy or gal. The news broadcasts the adulation and "pollsters" gauge your 'love.'....

What do you expect is gonna happen to the psyche of these people?

They will become self-important, puffed up peacocks, anticipating awe and sycophantic subjugation whenever and wherever you are in the presence of "the little people.'

They are almost all megalomaniacs. We are told we WANT that psychopath to be our representative.... we WANT it... the media tells us so regularly. And all those cheering loving people around them must mean something, no? (sarcasm intended)

NO, they are as empty as the services they have provided as representatives. They resent every duty, they shun every responsibility, they won't even read the crap they spew... because they don't spew it... someone does it for them.

sorry folks... rant off...

That's how Reid interpreted it. On his campaign website the article is titled "Sharron Angle’s Death Panel."
