"Rain of Luminous Beams" appears in the sky

"Dozens of vertical luminous beams appeared in the night sky of Xiamen about 11:30pm last Friday, reports Southeast Express.
The singular sight, which lasted for nearly one hour, was first discovered by Mr. Wang's friend, a resident in Huangcuo, near Xiamen’s famous Huandao Road.
According to Mr. Wang, his friend first saw several luminous beams in the sky and then told them to go outside and take a look. They were stunned by the sight before their eyes.
“At first, there were only five of them, hanging very low in the sky, but after a short while, the number increased to about 50, and they were higher and higher, just like a stave hanging in the sky,” Mr. Wang said.

This is bizarre - I wondered if anyone had come acreoss this before!

Could it be some kind of aurora? - there are a few threads regarding high CME's in July.

Seems China is having more than its fair share of wacky stuff happening. glad im living over there.....
Im moving down south china to Shenzhen soon, i hear there is lots happening down there so i will hunt down a good camcorder and see what i can find in the night sky

There's anecdotal evidence that there are lights in the sky as a precursor to some earthquakes. en.wikipedia.org...

Looks very similar to something U.S. soldiers saw out in Iraq. They were looking at through night vision equipment. I think the video is on here somewhere, or maybe Youtube.I wil have a look and see.

It looks to me like a high dynamic range photo (several pictures overlayed one on the other with differing exposure settings) and also with a longish time exposure setting.

I'm not even sure of multiple pictures are needed, just looks like a classic long exposure. What the object are, i don't know but it's certainly a bit of a misleading picture.

It might be but it doesn't need to be, you can create pictures just like this with a longish exposure, depending on what time of day/night it is. That is why the person looks ghostly, the streaks are in the sky and why it is all the colour is it.

This happens before big earthquakes, no joke. If you live in that area, the best course of action IMHO is to have panic sex.

In all seriousness though, GTFO of there immediately!!

there was a guy on c2c a while ago who had some footage of similar happenings in Louisiana.

Many things are "written". Some of them are bound to come true sooner or later. In fact many of the end times prophecies came true before we even entered the 17th century.

This is amazing!!!
It might be higher dimensional beings,
Or it could be an effect from solar flares impacting the earth's magnetic field,

Its kind of hard to tell with only that 1 photo....
